Why are some of page indexed and others not

I have created a site structure like this:
domain/for-sale/brand
domain/for-sale/brand-model
domain/for-sale/brand-model/pg1
domain/for-sale/brand-model/pg2
domain/for-sale/brand-model/pg3 etc....
I cannot understand why the domain/for-sale/brand-model does not seem to be indexed, yet the domain/for-sale/brand-model/pg6 is?
This is a new site, but I cannot understand why this URL would be indexed without the others...
Any ideas?
My home pages has links to the domain/for-sale/brand, this page has links to domain/for-sale/brand-model1, domain/for-sale/brand-model2 etc, each of these pages have links to domain/for-sale/brand-model/pg1, domain/for-sale/brand-model/pg2 etc...

When you're sure the page/ pages is/are accessible (no noindex
)and there is unique, text on the pages
and your pagerank >0
Google will index the page sooner or later. A good backlink or some social media posts can help.

Think you have to throw a sitemap up and do some social bookmarking and just wait. I know its infuriating esp if you've worked on site that index the same day.

I have search for the actual URL and it is not coming up in google.
I have submitted a site map including all URLs in WMT
Any similar pages that were there before have been 301'd

Have you tried to search for a term on one of those not listed pages? Perhaps they are just far back in the search result?
Did you try to submit the url with WMT to have it indexed faster?
Do you have any old urls you can do 301 redirects from to the new not listed pages?
Did you as Kevin suggested submit a sitemap?

It is an old site that just has a new design and structure. There are lots of search terms for these pages. I just don't understand why page 6 of search results would be indexed when page 1, 2, 3... are not.

Google f.e. will not crawl every page of your site. In fact, they may become aware of pages that they choose not to crawl because they are not likely to be important enough to return in a search result. Beacuse you have a new site, you need time and backlinks. If your content is unique, and when you get some strong relevant backlinks, more pages will be indexed soon.

Did you add a sitemap? If you do have a sitemap with these pages (and if everything is correct) give it some time.
If the pages are dynamically generated, and no links to these pages, the bots will not find them (or at least not very easily).

Sub-pages have no pa
I took over a website a few months ago which is not performing well at all for chosen keywords. When I first inspected it, I found a rel canonical tag pointing to the homepage on every page. This was quickly deleted and all the pages were fetched in webmaster tools. 3 months later and the website is still performing badly. When I use the mozbar, it shows that all of the sub-pages have a pa of 1. It is only a small site and all of the pages are linked to on the navbar in a simple way. The links are not made using javascript and all the pages are on the sitemap which is submitted to wmt. I have checked that all of the changes that have been made have been indexed as well. Could it be possible that google still sees the canonical tag even though its not there? I can't think of any other reason why the pages have no pa or why it is so far behind the competitors despite having better content and links. Also, the site is appropriate for adults, but I found (among the mess left for me) a meta ratings tag set to "general". This has now been deleted, could it negatively affect rankings?

On-page SEO optimization
hi there! Is it possible not to be in the first 20 or 30 positions in the SERPs after executing onpage SEO actions (keyword optimization, metatags, ....) even for keywords for which there's not "too much" competition? Is there a way of visualize the pages indexed by the google bot? (the pages especifically, not the number) in order to discard indexing problems? Thank you!

Locating Duplicate Pages
Hi, Our website consists of approximately 15,000 pages however according to our Google Webmaster Tools account Google has around 26,000 pages for us in their index. I have run through half a dozen sitemap generators and they all only discover the 15,000 pages that we know about. I have also thoroughly gone through the site to attempt to find any sections where we might be inadvertently generating duplicate pages without success. It has been over six months since we did any structural changes (at which point we did 301's to the new locations) and so I'd like to think that the majority of these old pages have been removed from the Google Index. Additionally, the number of pages in the index doesn't appear to be going down by any discernable factor week on week. I'm certain it's nothing to worry about however for my own peace of mind I'd like to just confirm that the additional 11,000 pages are just old results that will eventually disappear from the index and that we're not generating any duplicate content. Unfortunately there doesn't appear to be a way to download a list of the 26,000 pages that Google has indexed so that I can compare it against our sitemap. Obviously I know about site:domain.com however this only returned the first 1,000 results which all checkout fine. I was wondering if anybody knew of any methods or tools that we could use to attempt to identify these 11,000 extra pages in the Google index so we can confirm that they're just old pages which haven’t fallen out of the index yet and that they’re not going to be causing us a problem? Issues with Product Pages Getting Index In Google
I just started working here the other week and one of the big issue is that a lot of the product pages are not getting index in google. We have an xml.gz site map they submitted a long time ago. My guess is it might be something with not enough content on the pages? We are working on new content to them all but we have over 5000 products so it will take a long time. We also have the reviews on the pages and are looking at starting a Q&A on page to help get more unique content.

Moving Top rank Page urls off my Home page and nesting them on one page? Good idea?
I am basically trying to cut down the amount of links on my home page to make it less eye boggling and move stuff around. So i have of my Urls on my home page that lead to pages that rank very well within google. My questions is can i remove those urls to a separate page to group them together and then showcase that one link to that page on my home page. Is that a good idea or i am going to loose my link juice and position in search? The physical urls on those pages wont change at all.
