Google+ Business page just not showing :-(

Good morning from Pollen level moderate wetherby UK pass me another Benadryl Plus wetherby UK
Having jumped into the world of Google plus my objective was to create a business page that would appear when the Google+ serp is clicked on. Unfortunately my labour & toil has not paid off
Having created a Google+ business page & set it to default ( I think ) it still points to the vanilla Google+ page.
Below is my frustration chartered in three sraeps

"How do i get the business page to be the default everytime a user clicks on the Google + link in the SERPS?"

Nice to see you here. My advice is to wait for the promised merge and see where you're at then. In the meantime, you can submit your email address to Google to be notified of the merge. Here's the link to the form:

Thanks Marcus, Yes i did fee the Google places listing was conflicting with the Google+ product, damn frustrating. Me thinks I'll take your advice and back off for a while and see if things untangle

Claim that duplicate listing

then manage it and either delete it or inform them.

claim the duplicate listing and edit it to your liking

You could just leave it, they may sort this out as the Google Places to Google+ migration has been a bit of a mess, in the UK at least. We had a duplicate page created but they seem to have sorted it out now and merged the google brand page with the copied over Google Places page so... it sorted itself out without our intervention.
Google places / local for business is a bit of a mess. Loads of potential and hopefully the new maps system from Apple may provide them with some real competition and a reason to not make such a bloody mess of things.

Google Plus Company Page Verification
Hi How do you test successful G+ company page/publisher integration/verification if using the less technical methods such as linking between the Home page and the G+ company page instead of adding code to the head section? Since i take it the google structured data testing tool cant work in these cases since no code on the head section ! Is it best to add the code anyway ? I note my clients still not achieving a knowledge graph card/section in the search results for a branded search but i have heard that doesnt come until you have at least hundreds of followers and/or G+ interactions. Facebook Reach on Post Just Spiked!
Yesterday I put a post with a photo on our company Facebook page Normally our reach on a post is 500-600 out of a list of 77,000 followers. However, since posting this one yesterday afternoon, our reach has hit almost 9,000! The only thing different with this post vs. any others we've done is that I put a text link for the company name back to the same Facebook page that the post was put on. I didn't intend to do this, it's just that when I started typing in our company name, Facebook suggested making it a link, so I thought, why not? I'm thinking somehow that made it appear in more people's timelines than usual. We posted it the same time in the day as every other post, and this was the only thing unique about it. Any thoughts?

Google Plus: Personal vs Business Accounts I am Confused!
Hi so I have both accounts set up, I use my business g+ for sign posting my new blog posts & latest news. I have Authorship set up on my Blog and that is working fine. I am personally v much a large part of the brand, www.over50choices.co.uk and have my face on the home page and most social property, so when i do use my G+, FB & Twitter accounts, whilst they are the business accounts, its lead by me. So just what do I use my G+ Persoanl Account for? I have read that i should either share or duplicate the my updates on both accounts, but will that look like duplication? I dont have many G+ followers currently but intend to develop this in the next few months, so its important that I get this right if i am to optimise my activity? Your help appreciated. Ash

Do you need exact url brand match to get the benefits of social media noise in the google organic rankings? EG: twitter.com/brandname facebook.com/brandname my url extensions have my brnad but other words in, if i get noise does my website stil benefit in the rankings because it has the url in the profile? or do i need exact match in the url?

I have to update my data in 3 separate place is there anyway to just update one area and it filters into all required places. Hello, We created a google+ page for our website and we would like to know what's best for SEO purposes. We've put +1 buttons on our website and when you use them it give a +1 to our website's url. Some other websites on the other hand make the button give a +1 to their website's page on Google + like this for instance: https://plus.google.com/u/0/113493854651753327245/posts So basically the number of +1s on the Google+ page increases. Which one is best to have my website rank higher for its keywords? Thanks for your help 🙂

Anyone do SEO for facebook business pages? I'm having trouble with timeline layout.
I am working on my facebook business page and am frustrated with the new "timeline" facebook layout which really does not make sense as a business page. I have not found a way to change it to a traditional layout and have read some posts that said facebook does not allow you to go back from timeline. Does anyone have a good layout suggestions for a facebook business page with SEO in mind? Thanks.
