Open Site Explorer did go down last night when severe whether in Virginia caused Amazon to lose power to some of their data centers. Netflix, Pinterest, Instagram, Raven Tools, and many other sites were also down because of the outage. We were up by 3:00 am Pacific time Saturday morning, and we had people working on it overnight.
I'm sorry to hear that you've been having problems accessing the site both before and after the outage that we had. If you can contact our help desk at http://www.seomoz.org/help, they'll get back to you and help you find out why you're not able to access Open Site Explorer.

SEOmoz reported on twitter 8 hours ago that OSE is back up. It seems to be working fine now.

Google WMT
Bing WMT
AHREFs
Raven
Majestic
many others.....
With the exception of Google and Bing, they all charge. I have used all the services and continue to subscribe to them for various reasons, but OSE is definitely very useful.

How does my competitor website jump from a natural ranking of 10 to 1 in a matter of days?
OK this has really got me baffled, and I really hope the MOZ community can give me the answers I am seeking.... My statements and queries below are my own opinions and thoughts. I am not an experienced SEOer and I am learning all the time, so if I have written something incorrectly, please feel free to correct me 🙂 I have been told that natural rankings take time, and I have read with the recent algorithm changes from Google, that purchased links do not have an effect like they used to. I have also read somewhere that google has clamped down on bogus article writing (MOZ please clarify) But what I am seeking some clarification on is, how does my competitors website, that has had a natural rank of #1 in the past, suddenly drop off; for a lengthy period of time, then suddenly re-appear at #10 on page #1, then some three/four days later, hit #1? I have read that natural rankings are purely natural. I.e. a domain owner cannot pay google to boost their natural ranking. But is this really true? Why is it when I speak to a close colleague of mine in the same industry, he mentions that his maps listing has dropped off, and after making a couple of phone calls to his SEO guys in India, maybe a day or two later, magically his maps re-appear? I really am starting to question is a "natural ranking" really "natural?" I have heard that some of these SEO agencies do have some tools that dramatically effect the natural ranking of a domain. What are these tools?

Looking for traffic estimator for specific pages or subdomains on a site I do not control
I'm looking for a free traffic estimator that allows me to look at monthly visits for specific pages or subdomains on a site I do not control. So far I've found trafficestimate.com, but that only lets me look at domains. I'd like to see estimates for subdomains or specific pages. Does this even exist?

Root Domain Metrics Stagnant for 3 weeks now
We are doing a Competitive Domain Analysis for a client and 2 of their competitors. The results from the Root Domain Metrics have been ok from the past months where in the results we are getting changes every time the website is re-crawled by SEOMOZ to update its analysis. However, in the past few weeks, the results we are getting for the Root Domain Metrics have remained the same even after three weeks. We have attempted a separate Open Site Explorer analysis for the client and their competitors but be are getting the same results. From the "Domain Authority" to the "No Followed Linking Root Domains", the results have remained the same for three weeks. Could anything be affecting the results or is it just the fact that the links have not changed (not a single one, for three websites) in the past three weeks. Hope you can help me clarify my issue. Is there a tool that will tell me how many visitors per day a website receives?
Hey guys, I am new to SEOMoz and have setup my first campaign, so far very impressed with what is possible. However I am trying to find out how much traffic a website is getting, as I know that people can be high up on certain keywords but are not actually generating any traffic from them. Can anyone help? Also I have a potential client who is ranking really high on alexa because of its american traffic, yet when I asked them they get very few bookings from americans. How can I view the UK ranking of the site? Thanks Andy
