I have 2 canonical links. Must get rid of one?

On my wordpress blog, i have 2 canonical links for every single post, like this:

One is generated by wordpress theme:

rel='canonical' href='http://site.com/article-title/' />

The other one is generated by AllinOne seo pack:

<link rel="<a class="attribute-value">canonical</a>" content="<a class="attribute-value">http://site.com/article-title/</a>" />

I tried to remove one of them, but if i uncheck from AllinOne, the source code is the same.

Also, on-page analysis from SeoMoz tells me that i need only one canonical link.

I don't have errors in Google Webmater Tools.

What should I do?

Remove the template one. Edit your wordpress template and remove the line code you want.

NoIndex or Rel=Canonical Pagination

Hello, I had a question about noindex and Rel=Canonical on category page pagination. On my site, the category page the meta="robots" has "Index,Follow" tags and the rel="canonical" is the main category page, but when a user sorts the page the meta="robots" changes to "NoIndex, Follow." My question is should the sorted page be name="robots" content="INDEX,FOLLOW" /> since the rel="canonical" is pointing to the main page?? Or does it matter that it is NoIndex?? Any thoughts on this topic would be awesome. Thanks. Main Category Page

Link in H1 tag?

Hi guys, We're working through a redesign of our product page and are considering the following: http://screencast.com/t/NBSsDGA9vgS3 Currently the product name (including the brand name - Arc'teryx) in this case is included in the H1 and none of the title is linked. You can see this here: http://www.evo.com/synthetic-jackets/arcteryx-atom-lt-hoodie-womens.aspx The firm we're working with is proposing keeping the entire title in the H1 but linking the brand name to the entire brand assortment. My concern is that the brand name is a critical part of the product title and should be text (not a link). Any suggestions? Thanks!

Internal linking question

I have a Q&A site which I am struggling to get ranking well in Google. I had a few questions 1. Should I be doing some internal linking and if so how is it best to do this? Should I go back into users questions and change certain keywords to links if applicable? 2. Should I be nofollowing the index pages ie /p1 /p2 of discussions? 3. If anyone has chance to look at the site and let me know if there is anything else I am doing wrong I would be really grateful. Thanks

Canonical URL, cornerstone page and categories

If I want to have a cornerstone "page", can I substitute an actual page with a category archive of posts "page" (that contains many posts containing the target key phrase)? This way, if I make blog posts about a certain topic/ key phrase (example "beach weddings") and add a canonical URL of the category archive page to the individual posts, am I right then to assume google will see the archive page as the cornerstone page (and thereby won't see the individual posts with the same key phrase as competing)?
