When building links should I be doing it through different iIP addresses?

Im working on building links to pages on my site, should I be doing it through different ip's or proxies? Lately its been press releases, that we submit and they are pushed out by 3rd party.

nah, it's the quality of links you get back to your site that matter, not who posted them.

All content is 100% unique, I am doing all of the work myself and just wasn't sure if it would cause an issue with a good chunk work coming from a single IP.
All Press release work im doing is pushed out by a paid 3rd party, I write or have it written, and send it into them, they verify it and submit. All PR articles are quality content, with a few added links for link building. What Ive been doing on my own is bookmarks, how to articles, ezine, wikki etc.

Something doesn't sound right here, i think anything that you need to change your IP for is maybe not the best thing to be doing in the first place?
I'm not sure duplicating your content everywhere is a good idea. Try to keep your content as unique as possible.

IP diversity is important. If you are using a 3rd party be sure to check the links when they are published.

If you are trying to build links via different IPs or proxies, it means you are doing something fishy.
Do it in an acceptable manner i.e. try writing original and quality content, don not submit the same piece of article at multiple sites and don't indulge in link schemes. If you can produce good content and attract natural links, it would be the best way to build long term profitable links.

We have two websites that align with it each other: Site #1 - Industry editorial website that provide high quality, original and current content. This site is mature and has high authority relatively speaking. Site #2 - Industry resource website that educates general public and insiders about the industry. How to link build?

I've been having intense conversations with an experienced SEO, who has told me that the only way to get consistent links to your website, and to build you business through the web is through blogger outreach, and then paying the bloggers to put your appropriate content on their high Page Ranking website. To me, this may well be right. But it sounds dull as anything. Any thoughts? William

Link Building for a New Blog
We are setting up a new blog and I was wondering what is the best way to build good quality links for a new website? I have been researching this quite a bit on the forums and a lot of people talk about writing good content which I agree with however no one will find that content if we are not ranking in Google for our keywords. From what I have read the following is what I should be doing Directory's Creating Link-bait (Info-graphics) PR Releases or Getting News Sites to link to us I have heard a lot of mention of using Articles sites like ezinearticles but I have also read that Post Panda that they dont have as much link juice as they once had and also I don't think that for a Blog that we should be using it as well but maybe I am wrong? Would appreciate some peoples suggestions

Link building
I have two separate websites on different servers and was wondering that since reciprocal links effectively eliminate each other, I'm curious if this link strategy will keep the links counting. Here's the strategy: I will have someone link to my site A and if i link to their site from my site B in a three way link strategy, will the links count even though both my site A and B have me listed as the Whois so Google knows that both sites are owned by me? Building Links to Exact Match Domains
What are the pros and cons having exact match domain and how can you create a brand name and build backlinks? Say we have a domain personalizedbirthdaygifts.com We are quite stuck with what anchor text we need to use and how do we vary it? I've heard that we have to stay away from using commercial keywords as anchor text heavily. We have to also use our brand name. And here we get stuck as we don't have a brand name. In this case Our brand name should be personalized birthday gifts but this is also commercial keyword. I have seen before similar websites droped from ranking because they have commercial keywords in their domain and most of their backlink anchor texts are commercial. If I had a website called twentyfive.com selling birthday gifts it would be a lot easier. But when you have a website personalizedbirthdaygifts.com and trying to rank for personalized birthday gifts and birthday gifts it's tough. OR isn't it?
