I am currently working on a few campaigns and initiatives which would be really good for blogger outreach..
Anyone used any of these services?

I have looked into both of those services, however I have had a lot of success with myblogguest and bloggerlinkup and have never really needed to make a change.
If I'm targeting higher end blogs, I will research them on Technorati, then get active in the community to get my name on their radar before I inquire about a guest post.

Hey Matthew, I have a free account on blogdash and have used their search tool but I try to personalise my approach rather than just throwing a pitch out there. It helps if you can comment on the blog, follow them on social sites, generally hang out a bit and get some dialogue going rather than just blowing a generic pitch out to several bods.

For right or wrong, guest posting is big now so the amount of crappy generic enquiries is on the up so these tools have some merit, but if you fire out generic requests you may be closing more doors than you open!

I don't have any experience of the tools you mentioned, however I run some fairly large blogger outreach campaigns and I would wholeheartely recommend the tools from Buzzstream and Raven Tools.
Both are great for finding, approaching and managing link targets. They both offer 30 day free trials too!

We work very hard on our content marketing and social media and find that we are lacking manpower when it comes to outreach to third party sites and industry leaders... Should i disavow yellowpages.com. Webmater tools shows 656 links coming from it.
We do not have any manual penalty warnings but I am still concerned that Google will see this as unnatural and be penalizing us to a lesser degree.

Hiring for SEO Outreach
Hope everyone is having a nice Labor Day! We're a family owned wine club startup and have been handling SEO in house since things didn't go well with a previous SEO company (and sure we've done plenty of bad stuff along the way as well). In any case, we're writing a blog, including video entries etc. I've been handling basic email outreach about posts (ie if I write a winery profile, asking the winery to link to it) but don't really have time to handle more significant outreach than that. Can anyone make some suggestions about where to hire someone for an outreach job like this? It would undoubtedly be part time and Elance didn't give us anyone we were comfortable with. Free tool which includes a link back to my site
On one of my sites I provide a free tool to other webmasters to use that allows them to copy some code to use the free tool on their website and under the tool on it says "Powered by: mysite.co.uk" with a link to "mysite.co.uk". Now I have no real control over which sites can come and use this free tool (a tool to test how fast an internet connection is), on the whole though it is aimed at a specific niche but a range of sites do use it which means good or crap sites can pick up the free code to place into their sites. The link to mysite.co.uk is now always mysite.co.uk as the anchor text, I used to use the websites name (which is the actual name of the URL - link to site at end of post) so the links were keyword rich but only to my sites genuine name, however I now just leave it as the URL to my site. I am not aiming to do anything untowards with the linking other than to get the acknowledgement that it was provided for free by my site, however I'm wondering if google etc will be able to tell they are natural and not dodgy? My site is: http://bit.ly/MsNQwS (n.b. a new improved test is being created before anyone says it's not accurate). 🙂

I have some coughunnatural linkscough on a blogger.com blog which isn't mine (it was done by an SEO company). I just can't remember which company did it. The blog is inactive and is a one-page blog. Any suggestion to get this link down or reach the author / owner of the blog? Thank you!

Google Webmaster Tools - assessing inbound links
Hello, I am terribly confused by Google Webmaster Tools. I am looking at my inbound links, to see which content on the site is strongest. However, the results from GWT under Links to your site, and the results from doing a link: search in Google yield very different results! For example, in GWT, this page on our site apparently 2237 links from 29 different domains. But when I search link:www.nigelsecostore.com/acatalog/Eco_Stapler.html, I get just three results, two of which are from our site. What is the cause of the disparity between the two results, or is it just my (lack of) understanding of what I am seeing in the Links to your site report in GWT?
