Backlinks to site.com (without www)

I have a website with 301 redirection from site.com to www.site.com. And we have built many backlinks to site.com (without www). Are these backlinks still give us juicy?

Yes, those links will still pass most of the juice. Matt Cutts has said in one of his videos that doing a 301 redirect passes almost all of the link juice, a very tiny bit is lost, which is not a concern. No need to worry

yes, 90% or so of PR is passed when doing a 301 redirect. Try to get links to your site to be www from now on and if you are using a trailing slash (.com/) for example as your representative homepage URL it would be better to have that in the links pointing to your homepage as well.

Backlinks embedded in posts or backlinks in sidebar?
What's better? A backlink to my site, embedded into a blog post/article? Or a hardlink in the sidebar? The problem with links embedded inside articles, is that when the blog linking to me, gets updated, the articles disappear from first page and I lose the link from home page. How do you deal with this? I also read this: "The best link you can get is from a site ranking #1 for the keyword you want to rank for. Backlinks from PR sites not showing in Open Site Explorer
Hi, Over the last year I have used a range of different PR sites to post news articles that link back to various pages on my site. However, barely any show up as link backs on Open Site Explorer, neither follow nor nofollow links. Can anyone explain why this is and whether or not the dofollow links count towards SEO if they are not picked up by OSE?

Are backlinks to a domain that redirects useless?
I am working on trying to get backlinks. We are currently redirecting a few Domains to our current domain name. One of the Domains that is redirecting is the main Domain, we will be advertising in the near future. Can I send backlinks to the redirected URL or does it only carry link juice if it is to the main Domain?
