Wordpress category links not working

Hi
All of sudden, my category links are not working.
Any tips on figuring out what's causing this?
Looks like permalink problem with newer wordpress version.
I turned off all the plugins see if this cause any problems. Still not being able to find any option.

Hard to be sure without digging in your site, but here are some thoughts.
WordPress just updated to 3.4.1, did you? Is there an updated to the Genesis Framework or the Pretty Young Thing Theme? Both of the above should be indicated in your WordPress Dashboard.
Did you delete the post on accident? It may have had no content, but would have the slug "fetal-doppler-questions-and-answers"?
Do the posts under your faq's have the correct parent file listed?
Did you change the slug from "FAQ" to "fetal-doppler-questions-and-answers"? If so, change the slug back to "FAQ" or whatever it was. You might have done this for SEO reasons. If you changed the slug for the page, and want it used for your FAQ, try this:
DO THIS ONLY IF YOU CHANGED THE SLUG:
If the slug was FAQ, there may be a file named FAQ.php that tells WordPress to layout the page with slug "faq" using that file. So if you changed the slug from "FAQ" to "fetal-doppler-questions-and-answers", just change the file from "FAQ.php" to ""fetal-doppler-questions-and-answers.php" (CASE IS IMPORTANT.). Note, the file may be in the parent theme (Genesis).
Back up anything your about to change, and good luck.

Too much internal linking?
Hi everyone, Too much of anything is not good. In terms of internal linking, how many are too many? I read that the recommended internal links are about 100 links per page otherwise it dilutes the page's link equity. I have a concern about one of our websites - according to search console, the homepage has 923 internal links. All the pages have a corresponding /feed page added to the page URL, which is really weird (is this caused by a plugin?). The site also has an e-com feature, but it is not used as the site is essentially a brochure and customers are encouraged to visit the shop. I assume the e-com feature also increases this number. On the other hand, one of the competitors we are tracking has 1 internal link site-wide. Ours is at 45,000 site-wide. How is it possible to only have 1 internal link? Is this a Moz bug? I know we also need to reduce our internal links badly, however, I'm not sure where to start. I don't know how these internal links are linked together - some aren't in the copy or navigation menu. When I scan the homepage links using 'check my links', the total links identified for the homepage is only 170. kAeYlTM

City and state link stuffing in footer
A competitor has links to every state in the U.S., every county in our state and nearby states, and every city in those nearby states. All with corresponding link text and titles that lead to pages with thin, duplicate content. They consistently rank high in the SERPS and have for years. What gives--I mean, isn't this something that should get you penalized?

Link flow for multiple links to same URL

my question is as follows: How does Google handle link flow if two links in a given page point to the same URL? (do they flow link individually or not?) This seems to be a newbie question, but actually it seems that there is little evidence and even also little consensus in the SEO community about this detail. Best practice for footer in ecommerce - Shall I add Top Category links?
What would you recommend regarding links to "Top Products" and "Top Categories" in footer? Would you add them to give extra link juice to top categories? would you try to avoid category links in footer that are already in the header navigationor in the main content area to avoid linking twice from all pages? would you vary these top category links in footer according to main category

How many outbound links is too many outbound links?
As a part of our SEO strategy, we have been focusing on writing several high quality articles with unique content. In these articles we regularly link to other websites when they are high quality, authoritative sites. Typically, the articles are 500 words or more and have 3-5 outbound links, but in some cases there are as many as 7 or 8 outbound links. Before we get too carried away with outbound links, I wanted to get some opinions on how many outbound links we should be trying to include and more information on how the outbound links work. Do they pass our website's authority on to the other website? Could our current linking strategy cause future SEO problems? Finally, do you have any suggestions for guidelines we should be using? Wordpress: Should I NO INDEX Categories & Archives Pages?
I am new to SEOmoz & trying to work my way through the ca-trillion errors that have been found on my site, but for each one I want to ensure that I am helping rather than harming my site. The tool has (as a "notice") said that my category pages & Archives are NO-INDEX, is this how these pages should be dealt with? In addition, the crawler has also (as a "warning error) discovered that my categories, and Archives do not have a meta description..is this of great importance for non indexed pages of this type?
