Can you recommend a Web Developer who specializes in SEO?
-
We are an e-commerce site, http://www.ccisolutions.com running on an obscure Web store coded for us by a small company called Assist, located in Utah. We believe we have numerous problems with our code that are negatively impacting our SEO. One such problem, the current meta refresh on our homepage, is in the process of being fixed (Thanks to Jenn Lopez at SEOMoz for helping me convince management it was important enough to pay the $ for the fix!). However, I believe there could be numerous other issues. I am the SEO strategist, but I am not a coder beyond basic HTML and CSS. Can anyone recommend a highly qualified Web developer who's strong in SEO that we might hire to do an audit of our code, including recommendations on how to fix anything that might be discovered as a problem?

Thanks to Daniel and EGOL for the recommendation. I have submitted a request for a quote. Can anyone else make a recommenation so I have at least a couple of alternatives? I know management is going to want to know that I looked at several people before making a recommendation

Ryan is the most active member in SEOmoz Q&A. If you watch Q&A very often you will see lots of his very generous posts.

Thanks for the recommendation Daniel. I'm a little concerned that they appear to be an SEO firm but their site says "Site Under Construction." We are looking for someone with a lot of experience. I am going to contact them for a quote and perhaps I can find out how experienced their developers are when I talk to them.

I just started working with Ryan from http://www.vitopian.com/ . We've only just begun but I'm impressed with their assistance thus far.
I am a new customer with no affiliation to their company or Ryan directly.
I'd suggest at least contacting them if you're interested in hiring someone.

Transfer of website to maintain SEO
I am nearly finished building a new wordpress website to replace the old static HTML site which is currently doing very well in SERPs. My old site is currently hosted by a company who owns the site, my domain is registered with a different company and I have the nameservers pointed at Cloudflare. I have built my new site and have it hosted with a different company and I wish to keep the domain name registered with the company it is currently with.Is there an order that I should follow to move from the old site to the new site using my current domain name so that I minimize any impact on SEO. I built the new site with the same URL structure to maintain linking benefit. thanks

Multiple site in one? Recommendations?
I have 2 companies that essential do the same thing. They have different names and different domain names. One is a USA company and the other is a South American Company. My intnent was to create a single site with both english and spanish content and then create a english home page and a spanish homepage. I was hoping to direct the spanish domain name to the spanish homepage and the english to the english homepage. This way I will only have one site to maintain - one ecommerce site to maintain and can direct teh links to a single site - although they will essentially be kinda different. My question is... what are the pluses and minuses of doing this? Would I better creating 2 separate sites? is there going to be an issue with google maybe seeing duplicate content although the pages are seperate for each language? Any other considerations that I just wasnt smart enough to think of?

Global SEO Targeting
Hi, I have a website currently on the domain example.co.uk (.com is not available) I'm looking to enter other markets such as Brazil, Russia - obviously content will need to change to suit the desired market / language. I'm looking for some information on the best practice to enter foreign markets. I was thinking maybe to create individual sites for each location eg: example.br example.ru This way I could localise each site in terms of business directories, content, language etc. Or have my example.co.uk with various languages on it Experience, suggestions are welcomed - thanks.
