How Long Does a SERP Analysis Report Normally Take to Run?
-
I started running a SERP analysis report two days ago, and it still says it's "in progress." It is 5:40 PM Pacific on August 7 as I type this, and I started running the report on: August 05, 2012 10:03 (copied and pasted from the report).
Is this normal?
Thanks!

Thanks Kyle. I've actually had this account for more than three years, but it's a brand new campaign, which must be why it's taking so long.

If you’re talking about SEOMOZ, they automatically crawl and give you stats weekly. If you just signed up for an account and it still says "In progress" that is normal. I seen it take a few days when I first created my account.

Long URLs
My website is hosted by Hubspot. When I create a blog, the URL, as an example, would be: http://www.boxtheorygold.com/blog/bid/27061/Manage-By-the-Numbers/ Instead I am getting the URL below. Google Webmaster tools and moz see this as an error and google says it can't crawl because it is a non-existent page. Users cannot see this page, and Hubspot can't figure it out, but google and moz see it. This problem is occurring on about 25 blogs out of 150. Any ideas? And thanks. Crawlers crawl weird long urls
I did a crawl start for the first time and i get many errors, but the weird fact is that the crawler tracks duplicate long, not existing urls. For example (to be clear): there is a page: www.website.com/dogs/dog.html but then it is continuing crawling:
Moz Pro | | r.nijkamp
www.website.com/dogs/dog.html
www.website.com/dogs/dogs/dog.html
www.website.com/dogs/dogs/dogs/dog.html
www.website.com/dogs/dogs/dogs/dogs/dog.html
www.website.com/dogs/dogs/dogs/dogs/dogs/dog.html what can I do about this? Screaming Frog gave me the same issue, so I know it's something with my website0 -

Duplicate Content and Titles in SEOMoz reports
I've had to rename some of the pages on my site and also move them to different locations. I placed a rel="canonical" on the old page pointing to the new one. The reports on my PRO Dashboard are telling me that I have Duplicate Content and Page Title errors. Do the SEOMoz automated reports take the rel="canonical" link into consideration or do I need to remove these pages and do a 301 redirect from the old to the new page?

How long has the keyword difficulty tool had these limits in place?
While working against a tight deadline, I was surprised to see the following message: "We're sorry. Currently we are only able to offer results for 300 keywords per user per day. Please come back tomorrow" How long has this limit been in place and is the limit listed anywhere during the signup process? I rarely use this tool for more than 10-20 keywords at a time, so I have not run into this issue before.

SEOMOZ Competitive Domain Analysis
Hi, I am just trying to get to the bottom of why I am seeing such wildly different figures in the SEOMOZ link analysis. The SEO company that we use is saying that we have around 331 external links to our website, when I check on Yahoo site explorer, it returns 264 external links, but in my SEOMOZ campaign manager, it says I have 4 external links? I fully appreciate that none of these methods are going to be wholly accurate, and are going to produce different results, but I can't understand why the SEOMOZ results are so vastly different. I also know for a fact there are a number of Followed links that I have added to a couple of websites, that Google has now indexed (as they appear in search results), but don't appear in the campaign manager results. If SEOMOZ use a different method to assess an external link, then no problem - my main concern here is that as a Newbie I am doing something wrong within the SEOMOZ tools, and don't want to take action based on results that may be incorrect because I have set things up incorrectly? Any help is greatly appreciated. Many thanks, Gareth
