How can I make this into an infographic
-
Hello,
A client of mine really wants an infographic or a visual for viral marketing.
Our site: nlpca(dot)com
The subject is "What is NLP?".
This page has the best NLP definition - we can use the content with permission:
http://www.nlpu.com/NewDesign/NLPU_WhatIsNLP.html
Would this work as an infographic? Can you give me suggestions (this is my first infographic. I've been doing web design for about 15 years and SEO for 8 years)
How could I make this thing really popular in our niche "NLP"?
Thank you.

The content should have very broad appeal and can be very loosely related to nlp.
i dont really understand nlp or its uses but Find something that nlp can be used for and make the infographic about that. Or try to make somthing like this http://blog.ecoetsy.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/08/right-brain-left-brain-fnl-598x441.jpg that teachs what nlp is in a very visual way

Infographics are generally created to relay statistical information in a graphical and easy to digest format. Not sure I see a way of creating an infographic to explain a subject.
Perhaps you could gather some stats on the industry and express those with some cool graphics. There are plenty of tools around the web to help you create the graphic, I've always found this post quite useful http://www.makeuseof.com/tag/awesome-free-tools-infographics/
Best of luck and be sure to post a link here when you have finished it.

That's a not so light topic, to put into a visual. If you pursue it, I don't think you should use the exact copy. Re-work it (but still give attribution) to make it more digestible, fun, and relatable; add examples, references, etc. That will increases the chances of it being popular.
Here's an example of a "What is" type of content. It's a video, but it could have easily been an infographic.

Brand Search Results- how do you make sure spammy links don't hurt your brand
We are seeing a spammer start ranking #4 for our branded search result on google. This could potentially be hurting our brand. Any suggestions that have worked for you recently? For more context we already have: Create Social profiles (Linkedin, G+, FB etc) which are engaged and frequently updated Analyzed Domain Authority, Links and recency of the spammy article. The domain and the page authority seems weak, and the spammy article is dated Dec of last year Looked at various posts on http://moz.com/community/q/reputation-management. Thanks in advance!

How to make up for the low WOT score caused by spam in the past?
Before 2012, our employees used to spam in the forums as we are not that skilled in SEO at that time. And it caused a low WOT score and some people report us as spam. But since 2012, I forced them to stop all kinds of spam activities, but it always take 10x works to make up for the mistake made before. Now we are totally focus on the white-hat SEO, and how can we improve the WOT score? Thanks. I've already requested a review, and they said that they need more time to re-rate my site.

Can we use SEOMOZ to get insights/data on the members of a twitter list?
It would be so useful if we could get insights into the members of a twitter list in the same way we can get statistics on the people we search through the "search twitter bio" options (following/followers/RTs/Social Authority/etc). This is possible through the twitter api but it limits to 20 list member which is useless. Anyone know of a solution? Thanks!

What can i do to regain top 3 for local map listings if I already created a bunch of citation link to my site?
I got hit by a penguin refresh on Oct 5th and lost over 10 #1 rankings. I'm currently #4 on the places listing for my main keyword and really trying to regain top 3 position. I created a bunch of local citation with matching info and really piped out my map listing since it is 100% complete. I'm quite stumped on how to further optimize my map listing to where i can hit top 3 positions. Does anyone have any recommendations on this issue? Thanks Sam

Do you have to have a Google+ profile page for a person before you can build a Google+ brand page?
There was some debate at MozCon 2012 about this issue. I have my personal Google+ page which I didn't want attached to the brand of one of the sites I manage. I saw no other way to create a new Google+ page for this brand except to create a new profile under a different gmail account. The problem is, I had to put in my personal name to create the profile (you can't put in a business name, Google won't accept it), so now I have two "Dana Tan" author pages in Google+, the second one is where I built the page for this separate business "Celebrate Communion." Unfortunately, this has muddied the waters because people are following me in both places (it's fragmented my circles). I would like to add customers who are already on Google+ to my business pages circles, but the business page won't do it. Is it possible to build a Google+ business page without all of this brand confusion? If so, can you send me directions? I have found nothing online that says you don't need a profile to do a brand page. Also, once the page is built, what is the best way for me to reach out to customers with google accounts? I don't see a good way to do that on businesses pages either. On my profile page I can load all the emails into my contacts list, but then those contacts can only be added to my profile page and not the brand page. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! Dana

Best Way To Distribute Infographics?
Hello, I am looking to get into the benefits of link-building through using info-graphics, and I wondered if anyone knew of a good info-graphic distribution service. I know there has surely got to be a service out there like Prnewswire or PrWeb, only “designed for info graphics” instead of press releases. However, as of yet I have not been able to find anything. I am aware that there are info graphic directories out there and forums like myblogguest that allow you to post info graphics, and of course pinterest type sites. However, I have not found a dedicated info graphic syndication service yet. Does anyone know of a good one? Or perhaps just have other good advice with their success of marketing info-graphics?

Can creating a subfolder and seperate domain blog build external links?
So I am currently going through the creation of a blog with a client that has a company that sells tennis equipment. I have talked to their development team, who is a third-party ecommerce platform, and come up with an idea to create an sub-folder (domain.com/blog) with an article page using their existing framework that would feature full articles in a blog format. Then I would create multiple blogs for them using tumblr and wordpress with their company name and a few with unique names targeted to their niche. These would feature snippets of the content taken from their article page (domain.com/blog) with some responses or reviews on the full articles to further their outreach and then link to the main articles on their article page. These snippets would be divided up amongst the blogs and posted on different days of the week to divide the traffic. Each blog will feature fresh content and focus on a rotating schedule of the latest videos, re-blogs, memes, photos, highlights, scores, upcoming tournament reviews, etc. I will set each one up to rotate through these different topics on different days and times to create a steady stream of traffic. I want to make sure that I stress the fact that I wont be stuffing the unique blogs with links only to the clients company store, I will be making sure to keep it to an amount that isn't spam worthy. Now if these blogs feature rich content including the snippets of the articles from my sub-folder page (domain.com/blog) will these blogs pass link juice to the blog set up on my sub-folder? Also is this a good way to ensure brand awareness and create external links without damaging their reputation? Are there other risks that people have encountered by doing something similar? Please share your experiences so I can make an educated decision.
