I would ask you this question. Does your website have a decent number of other good links ? Does your website have a lot of good quality content ? Do you spend over a $1000 per month on marketing the website ? And if this $300 is a part of this month marketing expense, go for it. If however, you could use that money to build some more / better content, that would be a lot more worth over time.
Directories like Yahoo, BOTW and some others, it just depends in the situation and circumstances of that website whether it makes sense or not. Unfortunately there's no simple yes or no in my opinion.
I hope this helps you resonate with yourself and decide.

Backlink and Citations: "Google my business" title name too long!?
Here is my situation.
Link Building | | H.M.N.
I am currently doing backlinks and citations for one of our clients. The title name of the client on "Google my Business" is 75 characters. However, for most citation or back link websites, the limit for the title is 50 characters. Here are my questions: How important is it to have the exact same title in citations and backlinks? If it is, is the only solution to change the name on google to have only 50 characters? Thanks in advance for your help!0 -

Another Yahoo directory question
Hi all Is there any way of seeing if the Yahoo directory is likely to be beneficial for my site? I can see that about 9 of my competitors are in there, and the category that they are listed in has been indexed by google. What other factors could help me choose whether to submit my site? Thanks,

Multiple blogs for one site
Hello, one of my competitors built all these blogs and pointed them to their main site.. Is this white hat? http://steelbuildingsblog.org/ PR3 http://metal-church-buildings.net/ PR2 http://commercial-metal-buildings.org/ PR2 http://metalandsteelbuildings.net/ PR1 http://steel-storage-buildings.org/ PR2 http://texas-steel-buildings.net/ PR2 http://steel-metal-buildings.org/ PR3 http://metal-buildingstore.com/ PR2 http://metalagriculturalbuildings.net/ PR3 Also I am looking at my links vs. theirs and they have a much higher point score for links... But the company I am doing SEO for has most of same quality links. Can this be the reason they have an edge?
