How important is it to spread backlinks throught .com, biz, org, net, etc?

Im looking at some competition link profiles and majority of their links are coming from .com

The quality of the site is more important than the TLD, I don't think it should be much of a consideration.

You may see some benefit regarding localization in terms of getting high number of appropriate country specific TLDs. But, once again, quality still counts.

However, I often notice that sites with poor backlink profiles tend to have a lot of .info domains from directories.

Hi Friends, I am having doubts in PR distribution methods. The details are given below, First we will submit in http://www.prweb.com/ (PRWeb) then we will submit in our website. In the PRWeb when we submit PR on the same day Google cache the page but when we submit same PR in the website it take 1 week to google to cache. it Then we will distribute to free top 10 PR websites also. Anchor text distribution

Hey SEO Mozosphere - Working on a link buying strategy. I know it is wise to target not only anchor text links but also branded text links to keep your anchor text distribution looking natural. However, do you think it would be too risky to ask for branded text links only from low PR sites and focus the more valuable keyword anchor text links on high PR sites?
