Where is the Link Site button on Google+?

I want my content authors to be able to associate their work with their Google+ profile. I read about an update rolled out in June that included a Link Site function on the Edit Profile -- About Tab. I don't see where to do this.

Can anyone help me figure out how to enable this function?

Anyone use the new "Social Settings" in Google Analytics?

In the past couple of months, Google rolled out a tab called "Social Settings" in the Admin area (see image). It's an optional setting, and Google is rather vague about what it does. GA already tracks social in "Traffic Sources," so what is the advantage of using Social Settings? If you've used these new settings, what have your experiences been? Were the settings helpful? How to Start a Social Networking Site

I am thinking about starting a niche social networking site. My question is how big of a team would I need, how much up front costs would I incur and what specific coding languages would my team need to be well versed in? I'm thinking HTML, CSS, php, MySQL but are there any other languages needed for this type of endeavor ?

Community site for link building?

I'm considering the following in order to get users to stay on my site and make it more useful to visitors. At the minute we list live bands for hire and have a blog - that's it. I'm looking to build a sense of community where users can build a profile, chat, list their gigs, upload demos and chat in forums. Firstly I want improve the user experience and gain dedicated members but my second reason for doing so it to gain backlinks. My theory is that if the site is more useful it will gain more links. Does anyone have any info on how implementing 'community' features on a website helps with backlinks and whether this strategy works? These changes would mean my site has evolved considerably but i don't see that as a problem. My long term aim is to monetise the site through classifed ads and spot ads. Would anyone advise against adding advertising to a site and if so why?

4 months continuous Link Building, still not getting up!

Our page URL is : http://www.qubesys.com/psd-to-joomla-template/ And our keywords are : PSD to Joomla PSD to Joomla Template We need to get to the 1st position, and thats why, we have been doing a lot of social bookmarking and blog posting since 4 months. It was on 9th Page, but for this 4 months work, it now in the 1st or 2nd page. We need to get the #1 position, since from all of our competitors, we have the best website and everything in order . All others are either incomplete or doesnt look and work in a professional way. So, what are we lacking behind ? Got any recommendations, like what should be the plan and how to go about it ?

What is more important, tweets/shares or traditional link building?

SMM has a presence that is just growing and growing. I'm hearing all these back and forth talks about how tweets/shares are influencing rankings more than traditional link building would. If so, would this be a short term ranking improvement, long term? What percentage would you say SMM (ranking factor) has when ranking a website in the SERPS.

Google+ and its effects on SERPs

Hi all, With the recent launch of Google+ I've looked into the possible effects of +1'ing sites and whether or not it has a direct effect on other people with whom I'm connected within Google+. So far I cannot see any direct correlation, however I running a bigger/wider experiement with more people to get a definitive answer. What does scare me as an SEO, is that Google+ users will (most likely) use Google search whilst they are logged in, which, as we know personalises results based on a myriad of suspected metrics such as previous visits, personal +1, etc... How is this going to effect the SEO world if/when a Google+ attracts more users. Experienced this first hand when a client called me to congratulate a jump from position 9 on Google to first position over the weekend, which when I checked, the website hadn't shifted, the client was logged into her Google account due to the fact she had been playing with plus.
