Adding breadcrumbs in the body of a page

We want to implement breadcrumbs to improve the usability of our website - if we manually input breadcrumbs into the body of every page via our CMS are there any negative effects?

Breadcrumbs add great value to the pages and helps pass PR around the site. However, since you are going around the CMS, you better keep the links under tight control to make sure the breadcrumbs don't eventually lead to 404 pages. Also, I strongly suggest to use the breadcrumb microformat for an enhanced search display in Google search results.

Location of body text on page - at top or bottom - does it matter for SEO?

Hi - I'm just looking at the text on a redesigned homepage. They have moved all the text to the very bottom of the page (which is quite common with lots of designers, I notice - I usually battle to move the important text back up to the top). I have always ensured the important text comes at the top, to some extent - does it matter where on the page the text comes, for SEO? Are there any studies you can point me to? Content thin for new home page been told to change it? any suggestions?

Hi guys, I'm newbie.... I have been told that my home page is content thin, and if I want to rank really well in the search i need to have more relevant content on my homepage - the site is only new 2months and I can see we are now at 39th place in the search, if i make changes to the home page design and add more content will this effect this current ranking?

Spaces at beginning of title tag - negatively affect the optimization of the page?

For some reason, our title tags have a long space after the beginning title tag and before the text appears. The beginning title tag is on one line, then a break, a tab and then the content of the title tag. I'm pretty sure this is not good and is affecting optimization of the page. Am I correct or is this not an issue and does not need to be fixed? I have a site that offers services across two states and was wondering if I would see any benefit from creating pages such as: SERVICE in CITY, TX Would I need to change the content on the pages completely or could I simply swap out the city/state if I have roughly 3-5 combos I want target?

Does on page links have an effect on SERP rankings with PANDA

I have been doing some competitive analysis basing my company on others and have noticed a pattern. Very high ranking sites seem to have limited the internal and external on page links on their subdomains to under 100. my site has a lot of links but all are relevant and lead to unique content. I am interested to know if anyone else has noticed this pattern in changes in the SERP results. bIs google now penalizing pages with to many on site nav links? And if a full site restructure is needed to allow google to index and rank these pages or if a it is a non issue and does not need to be addressed. Panda confuses me!!!!! HELP!
