Hi,
There are several areas you need to populate in order to make your video rank well. I've summarised the main areas below, but there are also lots of good articles on this subject so I've included several further reading links.
- Video Titles
These are the equivalent of title tags, so make sure you use keyword-rich, descriptive (and user-friendly!) titles here. You have 99 characters
- Description
Populate your description with keyword-rich content. The more content, the better (500 chraracters max) - but make sure it looks attractive to users! Use this field to include links back to your site and to encourage ratings, embedding, sharing and commenting
- Ratings & interaction
Videos with better ratings usually rank better - so encourage your viewers to rank the videos and to comment (little tip - you can 'like' your own video to get started)
- Populate Tags
These tell YouTube what the video is about and therefore makes it more likely to appear for relevant searches.

Site appears to rank very low
Hi, A site we manage is ranking very low for it's main key phrases. The site is www.moremouse.com. For example for the phrase "orlando vacation rentals" it ranks around page 12 which seems very low considering the DA, PA, links, etc. compared to many sites ranking much much higher. Can anyone see anything obvious that is causing it to rank so low? Thanks Pete

BlackBerry Devices - Video is not playing
Hi Friends, In my website I am having a lot of Video. Each inner pages has video is available along with content in the page and video is not playing in all BlackBerry devices. So, I am planning to implement only for blackberry devices “iFrame technology” to avoid this issue. Is this will affect my seo work in Google ranking? Thanks

Using Iframes for Affiliate Ads
Hey all, I got a question: is it Ok to use an Iframe for example to list some Vacation Houses in my Travel Website? This is an Affiliate kind of Program Iframe Link. I did write unique Content about 400 Words and put this Text below the Affiliate Iframe, is this good or not?

If I want to rank well on one keyword would it be better to optimize multiple pages on the website for the keyword or should I only optimize one page for that keyword?

Lead With Branded Keywords or Descriptive Keywords in Page Title for (Niche) Site?
Our site is hingeheads.com, and our products and product catalog are unique in two ways. For one our product is not something that people are generally aware of, and secondly our entire product catalog consists of different variations of the same product. **Catalog Overview: **http://hingeheads.com/collections/all Product Example: http://hingeheads.com/products/dolphin I keep wondering if it is better to lead the title with "branded keywords" [1] or with "descriptive keywords" [2]? Dolphin HingeHead | Unique Home Decor & Gift Idea | HingeHeads Dolphin Decor Accessories & Unique Gift Ideas | HingeHeads I am currently going with the second solution, but I am always wondering if that's the right/better solution. I am curious to hear feedback from people who have more experience with this than I do. How would you structure the title for our product pages? Thanks! Kai

Homepage ranking before optimized page
We finally managed to obtain a spot in the first 10 positions of the serps for our main keyword. Since a week, our homepage started ranking in the top 15 as well, so we we're pretty excited about that. On our way to dominate the top 10! Since 2 days we started to rank with our homepage before our optimized page, which sucks because the metadescription (made up by Google) isn't helping our CTR. Is there a way that we can show Google that the other page is more relevant than the homepage? Or do we have to wait until we have build up enough PA to switch places with the homepage (seems unlikely to me).

Keyword Self- Cannibalization
I have a question about Keyword Self Cannibalization. I have a web page which is targeting the main keyword as "sarees". But this same page has internal linking from the keywords Benarasi Silk Sarees, Silk Saree, Traditional Sarees, cotton sarees, etc to their respectve pages. We are optimizing those pages separately for their respective keywords as well. When I run on-page report card for these web page from seomoz tool, I got an error says "Avoid Keyword Self-Cannibalization". Is this due to the internal linking from these keywords? Can anybody recommend a solution for this problem?
