shucks thanks Egol
I can honestly say, that without a doubt, BowlerHat.co.uk is the most kickass awesome SEO company on the planet, but... it's my business, so I may be biased.
I have been in the game for 12 years now one way or another and we do our very best to help. There are some areas where we have a lot of experience and others where we are not so well versed but certainly, fire over a question, I will do my best to guide you and if we work together, you will certainly get an experienced, committed and (often over) enthusiastic service. If we are not a good fit I can certainly help point you in the right direction so you can avoid the many perilous pitfalls and sharks in the SEO services world.
We tend to focus on a content driven approach and I have a bit of a thing for diagnosis technical SEO issues so we can generally provide help with problems and help lay out a content driven strategy for doing well in the long term. We also provide some link building and social services as part of the big picture.
Anyhow, happy to help so fire over a question to my email and I will get straight back to you.
All the best!

Will putting a one page site up for all other countries stop Googlebot from crawling my UK website?
I have a client that only wants UK users to be able to purchase from the UK site. Currently, there are customers from the US and other countries purchasing from the UK site. They want to have a single webpage that is displayed to users trying to access the UK site that are outside the UK. This is fine but what impact would this have on Google bots trying to crawl the UK website? I have scoured the web for an answer but can't find one. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks 🙂

Is my website indexed correctly in Google - www.couponshop.co.uk
Our website www.couponshop.co.uk has just had a relaunch after a change of direction.

A lot of the pages were redirected. When I checked the indexing of the website on Google, I put site:couponshop.co.uk and only two pages come up, but when I put site:www.couponshop.co.uk they all show up.
Is this correct or are we doing something wrong?0 -
ECommerce .com or .co.uk
I'm in the process of putting together an eCommerce site selling greetings cards. I would like to sell the cards to both the US and UK markets. I also want to have the best chance of ranking well in the US and UK SERPs. Should I build 2 sites using the same products/content on a .com and .co.uk domain (dup content issues?), or should I have one site with the ability to checkout in either currency? Any thoughts / guidance would be very much appreciated. Thanks.

Picking a URL co.uk vs .net vs .biz which is best for SEO?
Hi I was always told that you only want a .co.uk or a .com is this still true? I am setting up an ecommerce site and the ideal .co.uk is gone! Am I better to have a longer ulr with maybe a hifen or a uk in it or is it ok to have a .biz or a .net these days? You help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks James

Does anyone have any thoughts about this site: web-archive-uk.com?
They have "archived" a lot of our content. We have high-quality content that has been copied by others. We are in the process of sending DMCA notices to the relevant search engines that have indexed these sites. As well as to the actual sites. Are we right to believe that copied content on 3rd party websites damages/diminishes the seo of our own site? (Leaving aside the straight forward theft issue.) BTW actually impressed by the swift responses from Google to DMCA requests.

What is the best way to replace a .co.uk with a .com name
Hi i would like to know about my site which is www.in2town.co.uk which i am currently revamping and i am now in the process of buying a .com name and would like to know the best way to uise it. What i mean is, i have a lot of links going to the www.in2town.co.uk and would like to know should i do a permantent redirect to the .co.uk with the .com or is it possible to have the co.uk replaced with the .com i am trying to work out the best way to do this at the moment as i have never done this before. now after buying the .com for my domain name i would like to know should i use it as a redirect to my main site, or should i develop a sister site and use it. any advice would be great.

Hosted in the Cloud, my URL is a .com how can I rank in UK SERPS?
Hi Mozzers, I have found an e-commerce SAS solution (USA based) that hosts its platform in the Cloud. Unfortunately my domain is a ,com but I wish to rank & sell within the UK. I realise I can select the UK parameters within GWT, but I am led to believe that this isnt hugely effective. Other than choosing another eCommerce platform, could anyone please assist me in identifying a solution? Thank you in advance.
