E-Commerce SEO: What are the Schema.org properties you use?
-
Quick question about Schema.org for products. What are the properties you like to list on product-pages for an E-Commerce? Thanks.

Carlos,
You used the Video Object in e-commerce? I've heard that the videos rarely show up for e-commerce related terms. Could you give any examples of where you are showing up?
Thanks

In my experience and from what I have read, aggregateRating and
offers are the ones with the potential to improve your conversion rate and CTR as soon as the rich snippets are live and showing.
With aggregateRating you can get the rating stars on the search results.
There are many case studies where implementing the ratings rich snippets with Schema.org has increased CTR by up to 30%If you are thinking of using schema code on your site, that's the property I'd start with.
Not sure if that answers your question.

Carlos, thanks for your super fast feedback. I know the elements you mention and my question was rather about what are the properties that are worth listing, both for SEO and conversions. In your experience, what are the attributes that one should see described on a good product-page?

-
http://schema.org/Offer (if you have products on sale)
-
http://schema.org/VideoObject (if you have videos on your product pages)

Q& A section - SEO perspective
We have a software in our website where customers can ask questions and it will send questions to people who already bought it to get answers. The answers are there in each item page. So each item page has item description , reviews, and Q&A sections. We get lot of questions and answers and software is great but we don't know if it really is helping us for the huge price we are paying them. In an SEO perspective will it help due to content or will it dilute main keywords due to the Q&A content? Thanks RB

Implementing Schema.org on a web page
Hi all, As we know, implementing Schema doesn't change the look & feel of a web page for the users. So here is my Question.. Could we implement Schema markup on the web pages only for Bots (but not visible to users in a Source code) so that page load time doesn't increase?

Static pages with dynamic content: Good for SEO?
I wanted to know ones thoughts on reducing duplication by creating a static page with a few dynamic fields. Has anyone done this? If 75% of a page is static and 25% is dynamic, is that a good ratio? It's an idea I am thinking about to combat duplication issues affecting ecommerce pages. Some ecommerce sites generate a new page for a small change like size, but the content is the same. What if you could create a single static page and depending on the size chosen, only those fields connected to the size are dynamic? Everything else remains the same. For caching purposes, you always submit a cached page with default values. Wouldn't this work? Isn't this a solution for duplicate ecommerce pages? It would also help in ranking, rather than multiple external links across duplicate ecommerce pages, it would just be to a single page.

Is my megamenu negatively impacting my SEO?
Hello everyone, I have a megamenu with 87 links in total. We offer a ton of products, so when we decided to have this developed, it seemed like a no-brainer because a straight drop-down menu was really hard to digest. But I have been wondering if it is creating too many links on every single page and/or muddling the signals to the search engines. If anyone could take a look and give me their insight, I would really appreciate it. Thanks, www.cleanedison.com

Need to hire an SEO consultant to fix my website
Just started using SEOmoz and discovered lots of issues with my site. Need some help. Obviously the person could access my SEOmoz account and make sense of all that is needed. Then either go to my website and fix or tell me what to do. Thanks, Scott

How much does punctuation affect on-page SEO?
I have a page on a site that is targeted for "men's custom suits." Using the on-page analysis tool from SEOmoz it gives me an F for "mens custom suits" but an A with the apostrophe. Even though the apostrophe is proper English grammar, does it affect rankings either way?

How many times to use keyword
So if I have my main site, blog and article directory section, can I use keyword in all three places, but obviously different, unique content? And if so, can I link them to make it even more powerful?
