Changing Title Tags once Indexed and positioned?
-
Hello,
Would it be wise to change title tags on a page that is optimized and ranked already in google? These are sports pages, and the teams we are targeting are now in the playoffs so we wanted to insert that into our Title?
Thanks!!

I think if the query of people in this period are about playoff, is better the you modify the title and a little content too of the page. it can be onìy better for the index

If you want to rank for the new term then do it. This is what it is for.
If you have a title of ABC and you change it to ABC XYZ
You may not rank quite as well for ABC anymore but you will rank for XYZ and ABC XYZ.
It is shown that the first word of your tile carries more weight then the second and so on, it is also shown that a title has so much power that is split between the terms. In other words if you are a only child you will inherit all your parents wealth, but if you have many brothers and sisters you will only get a fraction of that wealth. so the shorter yopur title the more credit each word will get.

Yes you can change Titles even though they are ranking but it will depend on many things If you will lose your rankings after that or not.
1. If your site is ranking well it might be because of your site's overall authority & in that case your site might not lose rankings. I would suggest make minor change don't change the whole thing.
2. If your site is ranking just because of titles & a bit of links then changing titles may lose rankings for those keywords which are utilised in current titles.

To change or not to change. DO we update our HTTP page to HTTPS? especially those with basic forms (phone, email, name)??
I recently went to a conference where a speaker strongly urged us to migrate to HTTPS before January 2017. I don't see any other sites referencing to make the switch before January 2017. whats the deal? 😉

Image Titles and Descriptions Question
Hello, I have a question about optimizing the SEO on my pages through image titles and descriptions. There are a few times on my website that I use the same image on multiple pages. I am under the impression that giving it a title such as "social-media-marketing-agency-graphic.jpg" will help the SEO for the phrase "social media marketing agency" on that page. My question was, if I want to use the same image on multiple pages, am I better off uploading an entirely new image with a new title to make it more relevant to the new page? Or will this not make large enough of a difference? Or is there an easier solution? Please let me know your thoughts on how to best optimize the pages

SVG image files causing multiple title tags on page - SEO issue?
Does anyone have any experience with SVG image files and on-page SEO? A client is using them and it seems they use the title tag in the same way a regular image (JPG/PNG) would use an image ALT tag. I'm concerned that search engines will see the multiple title tags on the page and that this will cause SEO issues. Regular crawlers like Moz flag it as a second title tag, however it's outside the header and in a SVG wrap so the crawlers really should understand that this is a SVG title rather than a second page title. But is this the case? If anyone has experience with this, I'd love to hear about it.

Why will google not index my Images
Hi I've added to index images in our sitemap although they are showing as being submitted Google hasn't indexed a single one. This has been the case for about 3 months. Is there any reason why Google would not index them? Thanks

Image titles and alt tags for multiple images
I'm hoping some of you may be able to help me understand the best way to optimize my image titles and alt tags for a specific situation. I'm working on an interior design website and they have hundreds of pictures. each of their projects has about 10 pictures. Is it best for me to us the key phrase in each title and tag? or is that to repetitive? here is what I mean: A project called "urban interior design" all images are of urban interior design, just different angles and features, so my initial idea is to just have each image title like this: Title: "urban interior design dinning area" Alt: "urban interior design dinning area view" Title: "urban interior design living room" Alt:"urban interior design living room couch view" Is this the best way or will it actually hurt my ranking with too much exact keyword use? Thanks for your help!
