Is PRWeb.com still a viable solution for SEO?

It's a limited solution. It can get visibility fast and possibly drive traffic. It can also (unintentionally) interfere with your site - for example, a product news release could do well and the product page on your site could rank lower. So it also depends what the CTA is and what you want to rank best.
Even with good content, you need a way to get it out there to get visibility which is what a service like this can do. Then again, it can also do it for not really great content.

Paying for press releases are somewhat not a viable option anymore. Many believe that using that budget to create an awesome content would be a better choice.
As well believe, good contents will lead to backlinks. The problem with PR sites is that they mass send these to news sites, and unless your content in your PR is good, it won't be picked up and you would have paid $100-$200 for just 1-2 links.

Should I work with current site or start a new site with more keywords?
I have been working with my site for some time. Sadly, I am moving lower and lower in ranking. I am wondering if I should just transfer my site to a new URL (this time including keywords). I don't understand the whole disavow link thing. I hired someone about 2 years ago, when I lost my ranking due to malicious software. Well, it turns out that, she submitted my link to weird sites that I don't even know what they are. It is like sites with thousands of websites just listed. Things have never been half of what they were and I am really just growing frustrated. I understand that having an a URL for awhile is helpful, but I appear to have lost many of my good linking sites. Any thoughts?

Are there any services similar to pingler.com
Hi, i always used pingler.com to drive traffic to my sites but for some reason in the past couple of weeks i cannot get onto the site, i think there could be something wrong with my ip address, not sure. I have spoken to virgin nearly everyday and all i get off them is to turn off my internet for one week to get a new ip address and see if that works, now there is no way i can turn the internet off for one week. So i am now trying to find another service as good as pingler.com as i cannot see anyway of getting this problem sorted unless if someone has any ideas. I would like to know if anyone uses services that offers what pingler.com offers and if they could please list them here many thanks

Should I work on links to a specific page or site in general?

I'm about to start working on getting links to our site and my question is should I work on getting links to that specific page or would it be OK to just get links to the home page (same seo effect)? Hi, When a blog owner posts my article with a no-follow tag applied to the anchor text link pointing out I kind of get the feeling as soon as Google indexes this article with that tag applied its game over and that article is now dead, even if the blog owner changes it back to follow after Google has found it. I do a lot of guest blogging and it seems as though when Google first crawls the new content for the first time and follows the link something extra passes through. For example: I guest posted on a blog and the article was 'follow', I sore a increase in rankings for about 3 weeks, then the article got flagged in My Blog Guest that it had been changed and I noticed a no-follow tag had been applied. Ranking dropped back down by the time I had contacted the blog owner and asked him to change it, which he did and still it is follow but I never sore rankings come back, it was like soon as Google had seen the article link was 'nofollow' changing it back made no difference. I could be completely wrong as this is just guessing but its almost like when a link is tampered with it indicates its not a natural link.

I was recently promoted to director of marketing for a small business that focuses primarily with online e-commerce sales. I need help assigning someone who makes $10-12 dollars an hour. If you were assigning this person to do SEO work, what would you have them do? Note that this person does not have any previous internet marketing knowledge, but they are a college graduate and can read in write in perfect English.

Is still interesting to use aggregators?
Primeiramente, desculpe pelo inglês, pois sou brasileiro. Gostaria de saber, se com a chegada do Panda (que ainda não veio ao Brasil), os agregadores de blogs poderão ser prejudicados à ponto de diminuir os ranks dos links que recebemos. Na verdade, quero saber se ainda compensa usar agregadores de blogs que não utilizam nofollow. Agradeço!
