PPC : Do I have to create differents Adwords account for my 2 companies?

Hello Mozers,
I have 2 small companies in 2 different fields (tourism and IT). Do I have to create 2 different accounts for my Adwords campaigns? Is it the good way of proceeding?

Yes it is easier to observe 2 distinct accounts, and connect them individually to each analytic profile.

If your using Google Analytics your have 2 profiles for each website.
If you put the websites campaign's under one Adwords account and connect it with Google Analytics (for data analysis) it will get messy, your have campaigns for both websites showing up in both website's analytics accounts.

Personally I wouldn’t. Keep things clean one account per website. I would however recommend MCC - http://www.google.co.uk/intl/en/adwords/myclientcenter/
Plus you could end up with two credit vouchers if you’re lucky http://www.google.co.uk/adwords/coupons/

Questions that I wonder:
- Won't My account be messy?
- Isn't it easier to observe the performances of 2 distinct accounts?

I don't think you need too.... I did notice for google merchants you need to have one account per url...
But for normal adwords I have had a lot of personal stuff in different fields all in the same account...
If there clients and you are using someone elses credit card... Might want them on different accounts

Are there any recent studies of organic CTR vs. PPC CTR?
Pretty much the title. I am putting together a "game plan" for my CEO, where I would like to touch on the difference in CTR between SERP organic results and SERP PPC results. I've found a few blog posts that talks about PPC being responsible for 15% of all clicks, where 1-5 organic results are responsible for 68ish % and the rest being on 6-10 and page 2/3. However, I do not see any sources in these articles, which begs the question, where are these numbers taken from? Any suggestions? My own gut feeling (and SERP behaviour) tells me that these numbers might actually be super accurate, but since my business plan will most likely end up in the hands of our board of directors, I would very much like to back up my action points for growth, with actual sources. Adwords - Mobile Checkbox
Hi Everyone, I am looking to optimize my adwords campaigns and have been pondering how to handle the checkbox for "Mobile" on the standard Text Ads. (My ecommerce website is fully responsive.) If i want to create 1 Ad for each ad group and have that ad displayed on desktops as well as mobile devices, should i be checking the "Mobile" checkbox? Is it best practice to create 2 ads per ad group that are identical except have 1 with Mobile checked and 1 without? Please let me know how you guys typically set this up. Thanks

Why would a business want to cap their Adwords budget?
If a business has an unlimited supply of product and an unlimited capacity to distribute that product why would they want to limit their Adwords campaign budget? If your Cost per Acquisition for a conversion is lower than the Customer Lifetime Value for any given keyword bid, why would you want to prevent your campaign from reaching as many people as possible? Session and conversion data missing from AdWords campaigns in Analytics
Hi all, For a client of ours, we're not seeing session & conversion data for AdWords campaigns in Analytics. We are seeing click & cost data. Adwords and Analytics are linked and autotagging is enabled. The site where we're experiencing this problem is www.maxifleur-plantes-artificielles.fr. It's a Magento-based store with the Web Cooking Universal Analytics extension installed. The bulk of AdWords traffic is landing on the page www.maxifleur-plantes-artificielles.fr/plantes-artificielles, which has no active redirects that could remove the ?gclid parameter for as far as I can tell. Yet, click IDs that I manually tested won't show up in the reports either. Mid April, all traffic aside from direct traffic just disappeared from the reports. Google's Tag Assistant gives a lot of errors, but in the source code the snippet looks just fine and we don't have problems with other web shops that use the aforementioned extension. Suggestions as to what could be the problem are most welcome. Thanks! Bas

Using + in Adwords URL
Hi. I am using keywords in my Destination URL in Adwords. So http://example.com/?football+boots+supplier This was done by someone else and I am trying to understand the full meaning behind this. If I go to the page it links to, it is just the homepage of the website but obviously shows up in Analytics as a landing page that stills out from the general landing page of homepage / Is that the reason so its easier to track the data? I would have though using the Paid referral in Analytics does this better? Any help be great. Thanks

How do you assess PPC ROI?
I thought this would be pretty straightforward, but I'm trying to put together my first PPC ROI spreadsheet and it's turning out to be much more complicated than I had anticipated. Would anyone be willing to tell me what you look at to determine the return you're getting on PPC -- and if you're using AdWords and Analytics, what screens/reports you rely on? It seems to be more complex than simply comparing Paid Search Revenue to spend ... but I could be overcomplicating things.
