Weird client errors . . .

SeoMoz is reporting a number of weird client errors. The 404 links all look like the following:

http://www.bluelinkerp.com/http%3A/www.bluelinkerp.com/corporate/cases/Nella.asp

What might be causing these weird links to be picked up? I couldn't find any way within the SEOmoz interface to track down the source of these links . . .

I think I have resolved the issue where the links are. Waiting for another crawl to see if the errors disappear . ..

Hi David,

If you download the CSV, you'll be able to see the referring link. My guess is that there's a badly-formed internal link in your site.

3 of my clients suddenly lost alexa and DA ranks. Websites are active, created more than 10 years ago, and actively updated. About 5000 users each month. What could be the reason? I want to note that we never spam. We do only holistic SEO and write only Unique articles. This looks very strange to me. Any suggestions?

Increase in authorization permission errors (Access Denied - Error 403)

Hi MOZ community, Since last week when I changed my theme in a WP installation I noticed (in WMT and MOZ tool) that I have increased number in authorization permission errors (error 403-forbidden). What happens is that I received a 403 error for almost every single URL of my site. All these URLs are not "real" ones but they all have my email in the end. i.e. I get an 403 error for the "/contact/support@fantasylogic.com" whilst the real URL is just "/contact/" This happens, as I said, for almost every single page of my site. I have no other crawling or indexation issues, all URLs are correctly indexed. All new pages are correctly indexed as well. URIs ending with "support@fantasylogic.com" are not indexed off course. WP and all installed plugins & theme are on the latest available release. For SEO purposes I use Yoast SEO WP plugin. Duplicate Page Title error for an eCommerce store !!

I currently launched my eCommerce startup hosted in Shopify and linked with MOZ. From my first Crawl Report I am getting 580 Duplicate Page Title i.e. all my Collection page have the same title. I have googled and have been checking the MOZ community but cannot find a fix to it. Some of the URL's are - http://www.onlypetstore.com/collections/all http://www.onlypetstore.com/collections/all?page=10 http://www.onlypetstore.com/collections/all?page=100 http://www.onlypetstore.com/collections/all?page=101 http://www.onlypetstore.com/collections/all?page=102 http://www.onlypetstore.com/collections/all?page=103 I am new to SEO and any suggestions will be a great help to me.

Since July 1, we've had a HUGE jump in errors on our weekly crawl. We don't think anything has changed on our website. Has MOZ changed something that would account for a large leap in duplicate content and duplicate title errors?

Our error report went from 1,900 to 18,000 in one swoop, starting right around the first of July. The errors are duplicate content and duplicate title, as if it does not see our 301 redirects. Any insights?

Warnings, Notices, and Errors- don't know how to correct these

I have been watching my Notices, Warnings and Errors increase since I added a blog to our WordPress site. Is this effecting our SEO? We now have the following: 2 4XX errors. 1 is for a page that we changed the title and nav for in mid March. And one for a page we removed. The nav on the site is working as far as I can see. This seems like a cache issue, but who knows? 20 warnings for “missing meta description tag”. These are all blog archive and author pages. Some have resulted from pagination and are “Part 2, Part 3, Part 4” etc. Others are the first page for authors. And there is one called “new page” that I can’t locate in our Pages admin and have no idea what it is. 5 warnings for “title element too long”. These are also archive pages that have the blog name and so are pages I can’t access through the admin to control page title plus “part 2’s and so on. 71 Notices for “Rel Cononical”. The rel cononicals are all being generated automatically and are for pages of all sorts. Some are for a content pages within the site, a bunch are blog posts, and archive pages for date, blog category and pagination archive pages 6 are 301’s. These are split between blog pagination, author and a couple of site content pages- contact and portfolio. Can’t imagine why these are here. 8 meta-robot nofollow. These are blog articles but only some of the posts. Don’t know why we are generating this for some and not all. And half of them are for the exact same page so there are really only 4 originals on this list. The others are dupes. 8 Blocked my meta-robots. And are also for the same 4 blog posts but duplicated twice each. We use All in One SEO. There is an option to use noindex for archives, categories that I do not have enabled. And also to autogenerate descriptions which I do not have enabled. I wasn’t concerned about these at first, but I read these (below) questions yesterday, and think I'd better do something as these are mounting up. Advice for 4000+ duplicate errors on 1st check

Hi, 1st time use of the SEOMOZ scan has thrown up a lot of duplicate errors. Seems to look like my site has a .com.au/ & .com.au/default for the same pages. We had the domain on a hosted cms solution & have now migrated to magento. We duplicated the pages, but had to redirect all of the old url's to he new magento structure. This was done via a developer adding a 301 wildcard code to the .htaccess. Would that many errors be normal for a 1st scan? Where should I look for someone to fix them? Thanks

4XX (Client Error) Report - Referrer URL Feature Request

Why not allow me to click on the individual 404 errors in the 4XX (Client Error) report and allow me to actually see the where the broken links are coming from (as a hyperlinked url) so I can locate/click and fix them? Providing the referring url w/hyperlink will stop me from having to jump between the report and searching in site explorer, or downloading the complete error report and sorting.

On Page Ranking Tool Giving Weird Reports

My on page ranking tool is giving two entirely different reports for my website - I get one report for my domain name and a different report for the index.html even though essentially both of those pages are...well...the same. Not sure what's going on, hoping it's not an indication of a more serious issue? I appreciate any help!
