Crawl Diagnostics : Problem of display in Excell.

Hi Mozers,
I've just finished watching the Crawl Diagnostics Webinar and when I try to export one of my campaign into the CSV format, I've a display problem into Microsoft Excell.
Every headtitles are into the "A" column so, I can't do anything with that : I can't organize the data,... It's totally unreadable.
What can I do?

Glad you got it sorted Jonathan - Original spreadsheet opened up fine for me in Excel

Eventually, the problem was the format which was on my computer in .cvs. In .xlsx, there is no display problem.
Now I work with open office, the comma like delimitator and there is no problem anymore.

Now I've still a little problem, in the first colomn (A) it's not always beginning with a url.
For example : the 148 first lines begin with a url and the line 149 begin with that a text. So, after the line 149 all my results are distorted. Is it anything to do?

Rogerbot crawls my site and causes error as it uses urls that don't exist
Whenever the rogerbot comes back to my site for a crawl it seems to want to crawl urls that dont exist and thus causes errors to be reported... Example:- The correct url is as follows: /vw-baywindow/cab_door_slide_door_tailgate_engine_lid_parts/cab_door_seals/genuine_vw_brazil_cab_door_rubber_68-79_10330/ But it seems to want to crawl the following: /vw-baywindow/cab_door_slide_door_tailgate_engine_lid_parts/cab_door_seals/genuine_vw_brazil_cab_door_rubber_68-79_10330/?id=10330 This format doesn't exist anywhere and never has so I have no idea where its getting this url format from The user agent details I get are as follows: IP ADDRESS: 107.22.107.114

Crawl findings 301 redirects I didn't make?
Hi, I'm new to SEOMOZ Pro and loving it so far, but was confused as to how the 51 page Crawl of my site (http://cryptophoneaustralia.com) found so many 301 redirects. 18 to be exact. It's a Wordpress site, and my htaccess file has no 301's in it, so I'm kind of confused as to where to start looking as to why they've shown up in the crawl. I've been building sites for years, and use 301's quite regularly, but this site should have none. The site was originally on a subdomain until it was ready to go live, then I moved the site to it's current domain and ran the Velvet Blues plugin to update all the URLs. I then went through and manually changed the ones in areas where this plugin tends to miss. The site still functions fine, it just bothers me why the 301's are being found in the crawl. Thank you.

SEOMOZ Crawling Our Site
Hi there, We get a report from SEOMOZ every week which shows our performance within search. I noticed for our website www.unifor.com.au that it looks through over 10,000 pages, however our website sells less than 500 products so not sure why or how so many pages are trawled? If someone could let me know that would be great. It uses up a lot of bandwidth doing each of these searches so if the amount of pages being trawled reduced it would definitely assist. Thanks, Geoff

Excel tips or tricks for duplicate content madness?
Dearest SEO Friends, I'm working on a site that has over 2,400 instances of duplicate content (yikes!). I'm hoping somebody could offer some excel tips or tricks to managing my SEOMoz crawl diagnostics summary data file in a meaningful way, because right now this spreadsheet is not really helpful. Here's a hypothetical situation to describe why: Say we had three columns of duplicate content. The data is displayed thusly: | Column A | Column B | Column C URL A | URL B | URL C | In a perfect world, this is easy to understand. I want URL A to be the canonical. But unfortunately, the way my spreadsheet is populated, this ends up happening: | Column A | Column B | Column C URL A | URL B | URL C URL B | URL A | URL C URL C | URL A | URL B | Essentially all of these URLs would end up being called a canonical, thus rendering the effect of the tag ineffective. On a site with small errors, this has never been a problem, because I can just spot check my steps. But the site I'm working on has thousands of instances, making it really hard to identify or even scale these patterns accurately. This is particularly problematic as some of these URLs are identified as duplicates 50+ times! So my spreadsheet has well over 100K cells!!! Madness!!! Obviously, I can't go through manually. It would take me years to ensure the accuracy, and I'm assuming that's not really a scalable goal. Here's what I would love, but I'm not getting my hopes up. Does anyone know of a formulaic way that Excel could identify row matches and think - "oh! these are all the same rows of data, just mismatched. I'll kill off duplicate rows, so only one truly unique row of data exists for this particular set" ? Or some other work around that could help me with my duplicate content madness? Websites First Crawl - Over 2 Hour Suggested Wait
Hello SEOMoz! We recently signed up for a free trial and on the pro dashboard it states the following. "To get you started quickly Roger is crawling up to 250 pages on your site. You should see these results within two hours. The full crawl will complete within 7 days." It's been nearly 24 hours and we see no results under Crawl Diagnostics however we do under rankings. Is this normal? Thanks

Is there a way in in the pro campaign to initiate an instant crawl?
I have a campaign that's on a very small website at this point. It's only 9 pages, so a crawl would only take a few minutes. Is there a way to start a quick crawl at my request instead of having to wait a week to see if I fixed the issues it found during the last crawl? I've been hunting around, but I don't see a way.

Problem with connection to Analytics Account
Hey Boys & Girls, I'd just like to say Hi, currently loving the site and the feedback that i'm now able to receive. Just a quick question, signed up last Wednesday and connected my Analytics account. So far, it has had a problem atleast 4 times where i've had to disconnect and re-connect it to my campaign which then erase's the data that it has received.
