Hi Mozers,

I've just finished watching the Crawl Diagnostics Webinar and when I try to export one of my campaign into the CSV format, I've a display problem into Microsoft Excell.

Every headtitles are into the "A" column so, I can't do anything with that : I can't organize the data,... It's totally unreadable.

What can I do?

Glad you got it sorted Jonathan - Original spreadsheet opened up fine for me in Excel

Eventually, the problem was the format which was on my computer in .cvs. In .xlsx, there is no display problem.

Now I work with open office, the comma like delimitator and there is no problem anymore.

Thank you Mark. It helps me a lot.

Now I've still a little problem, in the first colomn (A) it's not always beginning with a url.

For example : the 148 first lines begin with a url and the line 149 begin with that a text. So, after the line 149 all my results are distorted. Is it anything to do?

If it's simply Excel displaying the content incorrectly, you can follow these steps -

Duplicate title on Crawl

Ok, this should hopefully be a simple one. Not sure if this is a Moz crawl issue of redirect issue. Moz is reporting duplicate title for www.site.co.uk , site.co.uk and www.site.co.uk/home.aspx is this a canonical change or a moz setting I need to get this number lower.

Why might Google be crawling via old sitemap, when the new one has been submitted and verified?

We have recently relaunched Scoutzie.com and re-submitted our new sitemap to Google. When I look on Webmaster tools, our new sitemap has been submitted just fine, but at the same time, Google is finding a lot of 404s when crawling the site. My understanding, it is still using crawling the old links, which do not exists. How can I tell Google to refresh it's index and to stop looking at all the old links?

How do i fix the problem of having 2 url's splitting my rankings?

please excuse my noobness. i have a nice site, www.soundsenglish.com which I built from scratch and learned by doing. It has lots of nice content and it does ok, my rankings are woeful mostly cos of all the mistakes i made building it...i'll fix that stuff. This stuff i don't know about. from my adsense i get 2 listings www.soundsenglish.com and soundsenglish.com wierdly the second one gets consistently higher paying ads although most of the visitors come through the first but they are both the same landing page same content -as far as i can tell. when i try to find rankings, use the seo tools etc i get diferent scores, so whatever it is, it is splitting the sites - can't be a good thing. i have no idea why this happens and i have some inkling that maybe i need something to do with cannonical redirects or maybe a 301 redirect. both of which i have little idea how to do. If that isn't enough naive blundering about for you, i have a little more... it occurs to me that this prpoblem is probably happening with every page on my site, i.e. the 'juice ' is not getting credited onto that one page. this surely means cannonical redirects but even afterreading up on them idon't quite get it. or rather ido but idon;t get how to apply it to my context.

Mozscape API Problem With Credentials

Yello everyone 🙂 Yesterday I generated Access ID and Secret Key to try the API, but it didn't work. It's said that it might need 5 minutes, so I gave it something like 8 hours but it still didn't work afterwards. I used the PHP sample and I checked it with the Sample Expires value and it produces the same Signature parameter as in the Sample Valid API Signature, so the PHP code sample and the Sample Valid API Signature are in sync. In case you wonder - yes I changed the PHP sample by adding the valid strings for $accessID and $secretKey - I'm a long time programmer and I know what I'm doing with it. I tried also the example URL from Sample Valid API Signature couple of times, refreshing each time to get new Expire parameter, but it's not working too. Both the PHP sample and the Sample Valid API Signature are giving me this: **{ "status" : "401", "error_message" : "Your authentication failed. Check your authentication details and try again. Why does my crawl diagnostics show duplicate content

My crawl diagnostics show duplicate content at mysite.com and mysite.com/index.html which are essentially the same file.

MOZ Crawler only crawling one page per campaign

We set up some new campaigns, and now for the last two weekly crawls, the crawler is only accessing one page per campaign. Any ideas why this is happening? PS - two weeks back we did "upgrade" the account. Could this have been an issue?

Crawl completed but no report available for download?

I put 2 crawls in the same day. One came back and delivered a report that I could download. The other one is completed (says so on the page) but there's no way for me to download the report. How do I get a hold of it? Thanks!

"Issue: Duplicate Page Content " in Crawl Diagnostics - but these pages are noindex

Hello guys, our site is nearly perfect - according to SEOmoz campaign overview. But, it shows me 5200 Errors, more then 2500 Pages with Duplicate Content plus more then 2500 Duplicated Page Titles. All these pages are sites to edit profiles. So I set them "noindex, follow" with meta robots. It works pretty good, these pages aren't indexed in the search engines. But why the SEOmoz tools list them as errors? Is there a good reason for it? Or is this just a little bug with the toolset? The crawling picture is still running, so maybe the errors will be gone away in some time...? Kind regards
