Right now I submitted both versions in the webmaster. But preferred non www.

You have a duplicate content issue that is because of your pages being available on the www. version and none www. version of the page - to correct this I would look at placing a 301 redirect from the none www. to the www. version and this will fix the issue.

I would also make the selection on Google Webmaster Tools as SEO5 says

Go into Google Webmaster tools and choose the way you want google to index the site. Choose either the www or the non www version of the domain name. This should fix it.

Duplicate content on site->citations? How important is it to change it?
Hi there, I recently realised that the citations and directories i was building used the same content than the one on my website. I know this is not best practice. I will for sure make sure it doesn't happen in the future, but I am affraid of the ones i built in the past. How much do you think this would affect my rankings, and do you think this is a priority to go through my citations and directories to modify it?

Hi Mozzers, What does Google think about a press release, appearing on lots of websites (relevant websites) as part of a link building campaign. Does the fact that this press release content is duplicated across lots of sites have a negative impact? Thanks in advance

Duplicate content
Hi everyone, I have a wedding blog I submit posts to on a monthly basis for a link back. One of the staff said to change the first 200 character and I can post it on my own blog with no duplicate content penalty. Any thoughts? Best wishes. David.

Duplicate contents with competitors websites
Hello, I have use the http://copyscape.com to check the duplicate content and found that my website have some errors duplicate contents with other competitors website. But a problem is, I could not define the reason of this (my website copied the competitors website or they copied of mine) To solve this issues, should I modify a unique my contents (this is difficult) or anyone have a good solution for this problem? Duplicate Content Link Juice
Hello SEO Community, So sometimes I will pitch one guest post to multiple outlets and if multiple reply positively, I will tell all but the single most authoritative site that the article is being published elsewhere and it won't be unique for their site. But some don't mind and still post anyway. I definitely don't mind because it just means that more people will read my article and more sites will be linking back to me. What are the implications on the link juice from the most authoritative site? What about the other ones (which are still authoritative, just not as much)? Is there any reason I should explicitly tell them not to post if I know it will appear somewhere else? Thanks much,

Does anybody know if Google makes allowances for duplicate content from press releases? If you submit a press release to a press release distribution service, does it have to be different? Any help would be much appreciated.

Duplicate content: One version is commercial and the other non commercial for linking purposes
I wanted to know if the following plan would be considered white hat or black hat. I am in the process of creating an instructional how to guide for a particular task. Â My how to guide will be a DIY guide so that with time and practice, customers can do this task for themselves and save money. Â I think that it would be a great resource. I want to ask other websites for links to this how to guide but the problem is that my blog has a commercial feel to it. Â These other websites that I plan on asking for a link probably won't link to my site because it promotes my services. Â They would be non profits, etc. Â My site needs to appear non commercial. In order to get around this stigma, I want to duplicate my how to guide twice on my blog. Â The first instance will be for normal visitors searching for my services. In the second instance, my banner, my tel number, my call to action will be deleted from my site. Â My website will be neutral. Â When I request a link from the non profits, I plan on sending a link to the neutral portion of my blog in the hopes that they will see a non commercial site and link to me. What do you think? I could also tell the webmasters that I've neutered my website for this resource only. Will this plan give link juice to my root domain?
