Changing all titles

A new client of mine has a terrible Wordpress site with many issues and one of these is keyword stuffing, especially in the title.
We all know how bad it is, but then what's the best way to remove the keywords in excess?
They stuffed 4 keywords (average 3 terms per keyword) in the wordpress General Settings "Site Title", so all of them are included in the title, and there are 200 pages basically with the same, stuffed, title.
I am pretty sure if I remove them, and put a unique keyword per page I would have a huge rank drop, but is there any way to minimize it?
2nd question: should I improove the on-page factors and wait for the rank drop/resume before starting a linkbuilding campaign?

You should definitely remove those keywords, the change could make you lose trafic but a penalty will get you into more serious problems.

My suggestion would be to be proactive as opposed to being reactive and avoid experiencing a rank drop. Ideally optimize one keyword per page on the site. Since the site has not been penalized yet, you can start off with your link building campaign as it does take time for the sites to approve your link and make it live on their site.

Problems with Meta Title on Bing

Bing result title is displaying a competitors name
When searching "Cambridge Savings Bank" which is the specific name of a bank in Bing the search results return with them as Number one with the correct URL. The issue is Bing has titled the search result "East Cambridge Savings Bank" (which is another entity all together) and still has the correct www.cambridgesavings.com URL. So basically Bing is putting another corporation's name on our website. This issue only is in Bing. Any idea how to correct this? 2.png 1.png

Changing URLs for SEO
Hi, Currently we have a page, /business, but we have shifted our strategy to optimize for this page for the keyword "enterprise" instead of "business". The page authority of this page is 18 and our domain authority is 35. I've already updated content and title tags to more of an enterprise focus. Would it be wise to move the page to /enterprise and create a 301 redirect from /business to /enterprise? Or is this too risky from an SEO standpoint? Thanks!

When do I change out my meta tags after a full website revamp?
We're creating a new version of our entire website - look and feel is completely different, though core functionality and results are the same. Just cleaner, faster.. etc. We're doing a temp redirect to the temporary url for testing and to slow roll the release to some of our users for a more friendly approach. Eventually, the new look and feel will be under the original url. I've researched best practices for the site transfer, including "make sure the meta tags for title and description are exactly the same". The concern I have is that Moz Analytics is detecting a lot of errors in the existing meta tags. They're too long, have changed and become inconsistent after being passed through different hands, & some have some keyword stuffing in there. I have plans to change them out and really clean them up... I'm just wondering, when is the best time to do that? Since the tags are bad, should I just do it now but make sure that the old and new are matching? Or should I wait (and for how long?) after the new site is switched over and everything is on the original URL?

How can I change the page title "two" (artigos/page/2.html) in each category ?
I have some categories and photo galleries that have more than one page (i.e.: http://www.buffetdomicilio.com/category/artigos and http://www.buffetdomicilio.com/category/artigos/page/2). I think that I must change the tittle and description, but I don't how. I would like to know how can I change the title of each of them without stay with duplicate title and description. Duplicate Page Title for multilingual wordpress site
Hello all, I have received my first crawl reports and I find a lot of errors of duplicate page title. In the wordpress site I use the qtranslate plugin in order to have the site in 2 languages. I also use the Yoast SEO plugin in order to put titles, description and keywords to each web page. By looking deeply in the duplicate page title errors I think I found that the problem is that every web page takes the same SEO Title for each language. But I am not 100% sure. I tried to use some shortcodes of the qtranslate plugin like the following ABOUT [:en]About in order to indicate and give different titles per language for one web page but that doesn't seem to work. Does anybody here has experienced the same problem as me? Do you have any suggestions about how to ressolve the problem of the duplicate page title? Changing from ocpatentlawyer.com to www.ocpatentlawyer.com
I want to change my web address from ocpatentlawyer.com to www.ocpatentlawyer.com. My understanding is that google treats these two web addresses as different web addresses. My blog is a pr 5 website. I don't want to make the switch and find out that google no longer ranks my pages and posts anymore.

Maximum <title>length - use full or shorten?</title>
I have a Title on a page that has more than 70 chars in it, and I also have to include the page type and brand in the title. page type: Type page header: This is the page title of the long title and I need to add more content brand: Brand Is it better to concanenate the title server-side and use a .. instead, like this? Type: This is the page title of the long title and I need to.. | Brand Or, should I put the full Title of the page so that the keywords are available for Google? example, Type: This is the page title of the long title and I need to add more content | Brand I'm trying to keep to the 70 char limit for Google.
