Are there any tools available for wordpress that can help with SEO?
-
I'm looking for a wordpress plugin that that keeps current/updates with all the changes that constantly take place on various search engines. Is there such an addon that meets this criteria?
-
It depends on your wordpress theme. Some themes use a complicated method of displaying the meta description and Yoast SEO will tell you there are multiple description tags. It will offer to try to fix it automatically which works in some themes and breaks others. It's best to have some professional help available in case it messes up your template.

If you download the app and follow the instructions in that article you should be just fine, don't be intimated and if you have any more questions while you are setting up your Yoast account ask them here and someone will help you out

Since both you and David recomended yoast I'm assuming it's the real deal. Thanks, and thanks for answering all my questions so quickly tonight Smartlock.
One last thing before I log off for the night,
That article looks pretty complicated for someone with no SEO experience. Would I need an SEO expert to set it up? Or am I just being intimidated by the SEO jargon? lol

There are several tools available to in wordpress. I use Yoast, it is a great tool. Here is a good aticle that will help you set up the tool and understand how wordpress works: http://www.seomoz.org/blog/setup-wordpress-for-seo-success

The best one that I have used is SEO plugin by Yoast.
Tons of great features.

Can a rel author tag point to a Google+ business page
I’m trying to get my blog posts to show with rich snippets but they are a collaborative effort from our staff and as such are posted under our business name. We do have some guest bloggers who write under their own name and we use the author tags to show this. Is there a similar way to do this with a business?

How can we dynamically populate content on our website based on a visitor's web history?
Recently, I have tried looking into options that would allow us to dynamically populate content (specifically images to be used at CTAs on our blog in wordpress) to different users based on their web history on our website. We would want to be able to dynamically populate images based on the number of visits in the past 60 days and the inferred industry based on pages hit. Unfortunately, I have been unable to find anything as a standalone tool - I believe HubSpot may have something like this but it is rolled into their blogging platform. Does anyone know of one?

I started a Wordpress blog, google indexed it...
How long before I can see those links show up in SEO Moz for my website? What elements is SEO Moz looking for before they add the wordpress site to my linking domains report? Regards, Jeff

Can you have too many words on a page for SEO?
One line of thinking is that you can not have too many words on a page because the more words you have the higher the chances that a long tail phrase will attract traffic. But can you go overboard with this? Is there a limit to the number of words on a page in terms of SEO?

Images for WordPress
I'd be grateful for any advice regarding sourcing, adding & attributing images/photos for my WordPress blog. Budget is tight so have to rule out paid stock libraries, but I heard that Flickr images can be used under Creative Commons providing they are correctly attributed. eg. http://www.zdnet.co.uk/news/business-of-it/2011/04/07/mps-criticise-bbc-siemens-38m-contract-failure-40092428/ eg 2. http://www.zdnet.co.uk/news/networking/2011/10/05/bt-lines-up-300mbps-broadband-launch-40094109/ Example 1 does not seem to link back but example 2 does. Are there any rules on this? I have looked at some plugins: Insights, iFlickr, WP Flickr Manager, Photo Dropper. Looking to save time by streamlining the process of adding images, resizing and attributing. Many thanks.
