I'm not sure what the "id=" parameter is doing, functionally, but there are many ways to control it, and Robots.txt is probably not your best bet. You could META NOINDEX the duplicates, or you could rel=canonical to the "master" page. It's a complex subject, and I've got a comprehensive post about it here:
http://www.seomoz.org/blog/duplicate-content-in-a-post-panda-world
Those duplicates can definitely dilute your ranking ability, and even trigger a Panda problem (that could harm your entire site).
I don't believe there's really a sandbox in 2012, in the way we used to mean it. Many sites go out the gate ranking pretty quickly. Sometimes, after an initial grace period (30 days or so?), Google lowers a site's ranking, but that's usually because they re-evaluated the link profile. Large-scale duplication wouldn't cause that. The good news is that, once you clean it up, rankings should gradually improve.

Dear friend!
Thanks you for the support ^^!
My website backlinks are pointed from my another website by the banner at the left hand side bar ( follow link, of course this is also travel website), and i litle is from the forum and blog, the biggest links are from my website ( another site).
So, Should i remove from my another website or from the blog, forum...
Because my another website have index 2000+ so the links are too many.
And with the backlink, what is the most important factors? PA, DA, or link root domain...
Thank you ^^!

Ok so now we know it is due to the Penguin update.
The first step to do will be analyzing every single on of your backlink. Use Webmaster Tools and export all the backlinks that are pointing to your website. Next you will have to check out each single backlinks to see the quality of the link. I like to use the Mozbar addon to quickly check what the MozRank and MozTrust of the page is where the backlinks to your site is located.
Once you got the full list of links you want to have gone, you will first have to manually try and remove the links. This could be relatively easy if the link for example is from a directory where you had to make a profile first in order to create a listing. In that case, you can just delete the listing. Otherwise you will have to email the owner of the website if they could remove your backlink.
Now if, let's say 2-3 weeks have passed and you still haven't heard back of some the webmasters (even though you contacted them), you can go ahead and use the link disavow tool. This tool however has to be used with high care.
Have a read of http://searchengineland.com/google-launches-disavow-links-tool-136826 for an understanding of the tool.
If you don't fully understand the tool, please come back to the SEOMoz forums and ask for help, you need to fully understand how it works.
Good luck and feel free to ask any other questions!

You right!
I think so! My website loss Top at that time.So What should i do my friend?
i remove or try to rename to anchor text. To remove the backlinks i remove it on the web page where placed the keyword or still to use google webmaster tool to remove it?
Thank!

By the sound of you might of gotten a penalty of Google.
I believe it might of been the penguin update.
I had a look at your backlink profile, and out of a total of 2.9k links you have 968 links with the anchor text of "vietnam visa of arrival". This is a clear signal to google that you are trying to manipulate to rank for that keyword.
Did the rankings decreased around the period of April the 24th?

Having duplicate titles will most certainly be effecting your SERP rankings, along with many many others factors of course.
Page titles should be unique on each page, and contain keywords that describe or that are relevant to the page.

Google Results Title vs My Page Title
I'm having some trouble with my titles of a new site, it has been online for around two months now and i'm getting weird titles from most indexed pages. Since my site is focused on finding courses, the course title format is the following: URL: https://www.maseducacion.com/estudios/programacion-curricular--tecnigrap-2982
Technical SEO | | JoaoCJ
My Title: Course - Institute | Mybrand
Google Search Title: Course - Institute | Mybrand - Educativa Half of my results have that word at the end, don't know where it comes from, that word is only included in two links. Any idea on how to fix it?0 -
Duplicate Home Page
Hi everyone! So, I;m using the crawl diagnostics in Moz and it's telling that I've got duplicate content for these two pages: http://www.bridgelanguages.com/
Technical SEO | | Bridge_Education_Group
http://www.bridgelanguages.com/index.php?p=3233&source=3 Would a redirect from the 2nd page to the 1st one be a solution? I'm not even sure where that 2nd link is on the site? Any suggestions or has anyone experienced the same? Thanks! Kelly0 -
How damaging is duplicate content in a forum?
Hey all; I hunted around for this in previous questions in the Q&A and didn't see anything. I'm just coming back to SEO after a few years out of the field and am preparing recommendations for our web dev team. We use a custom-coded software for our forums, and it creates a giant swathe of duplicate content, as each post has its own link. For example: domain.com/forum/post_topic domain.com/forum/post_topic/post1 domain.com/forum/post_topic/post2 ...and so on. However, since every page of the forum defaults to showing 20 posts, that means that every single forum thread that's 20 posts long has 21 different pages with identical content. Now, our forum is all user-generated content and is not generally a source of much inbound traffic--with occasional exceptions--but I was curious if having a mess of duplicate content in our forums could damage our ability to rate well in a different directory of the site. I've heard that Panda is really cracking down on duplicate content, and last time I was current on SEO trends, rel="canonical" was the hot new thing that everyone was talking about, so I've got a lot of catching up to do. Any guidance from the community would be much appreciated.

Catch 22 on duplicate page titles
Hi all, I'm quite new to the SEO space so I apologise if all the information below isn't technically perfect. I ran the SEOmoz pro tool for the first time a month ago (fantastic tool). It picked up a wealth of errors on our site that we are now working on. the problem: we use dynamic pages to display job listings pulled from our database that have picked up many duplicate page titles and content. For example: _Landing page: _http://www.arm.co.uk/jobs/it-contract-jobs/sec=itcontractjobs _Page 2: _http://www.arm.co.uk/jobs/1/-/-/2/itcontractjobs-/9999/2 _Page 3: _http://www.arm.co.uk/jobs/1/-/-/2/itcontractjobs-/9999/3 Following the results of the Moz tool we have now 'no indexed' and 'no followed' the dynamic pages and the errors have dramatically dropped, great! However, on reflection we generate quite a lot of traffic to individual job's listed on our website. By no following the pages we have restricted passing on any 'juice' to these pages, and by no indexing we may be taking them out of Googles index completely. These dynamic pages and individual job listings do generate a lot of traffic to our website via organic search. We do submit the site index to Google that should index the individual jobs that way. So, the question is (I hope this is making sense), are the gains of reducing errors picked up in the moz tool (to improve the overall site performance) likely to outweigh the traffic generated on these dynamically generated pages by being indexed and followed by Google. Ultimately we would like the static landing pages to retain a stronger page rank. Any guidance is very much appreciated. Best Regards,

Duplicate Content
Hi - We are due to launch a .com version of our site, with the ability to put prices into local currency, whereas our .co.uk site will be solely £. If the content on both the .com and .co.uk sites is the same (at product level mainly), will we be penalised? What is the best way to get around this?

Duplicate content
Greetings! I have inherited a problem that I am not sure how to fix. The website I am working on had a 302 redirect from its original home url (with all the link juice) to a newly designed page (with no real link juice). When the 302 redirect was removed, a duplicate content problem remained, since the new page had already been indexed by google. What is the best way to handle duplicate content? Thanks!
