Would there be any benefit to building some backlinks to your social media profiles (i.e. Facebook, Twitter), considering that you're linking to yourself regularly from them anyway?

There are a few SEO companies that I would like to try out, but I figure why not try them out on my social media profiles first, before having them do any work directly to my site.

Thoughts?

Link Building Question

Hi Community, I am currently doing some link building for a client. I have created a case study in the form of an article based around the client on our own website & linked to one of their service subpages so a user can see what kind of work they do. I am also currently trying to rank the exact same service sub page for 'KEYWORD A'. I have used 'KEYWORD A' in the title of the article (/KEYWORD-A-TEXT-TEXT) and built a link (not exact match anchor text but contains 'KEYWORD A') within the article pointing to the service subpage. Our blog post now out-ranks the service subpage by around 5 pages, my question is: 1. How long does Google take to acknowledge that the client's service subpage is more resourceful for KEYWORD A? Any other hints / tips / advice is appreciated! Thank you

I work in my website ,and built backlinks for 3 months, i not built for spacify keywords but in general for my website, but i got little visitors from google, when i will get more visitors ? shall i wait another updates ? is it enough of backlinks ?

Link building via Rafflecopter

I received an invite from a company to enter a contest for a chance to win a prize. The contest is run by Rafflecopter. Rafflecopter looks interesting because you can place the contest anywhere including social sites and your own website. Contestants can increase the chances of winning in various ways such as an FB like, tweet, etc. The largest number of points (for this particular contest) are awarded for linking from your website to their website. Given that the contestant must add the link to their website and the sponsoring company can not control whether they use nofollow, couldn't this contest approach to link building cause problems for SEO? If the contest included instructions to copy and paste the html with a nofollow, that would seem like a better solution, but the only guidance given was to link to their home page. Your thoughts? Hi whats the number of backlinks i can create a day, for each keyword that i want to rank for, some say 5-10 or 20-30, other say there is no limited, if you create quality backlnks i know its not about quantity but quality ,but really whats a best answer? Thanks
