Can I add another user to my SEOMoz Pro campaign?
-
I have a couple of campaigns on my SEOMoz Pro account and I would like to give access of one of theses campaigns to a SEO consultant, is that possible? Or do I need to give access to my full SEOMoz account?
-
AHH!!!! Nice

I'm happy to write that you can now add users to your Moz Pro account--Multiseat is here! If you want to learn more about what our v1 of Multiseat includes or how we plan to iterate on it in the future, please check out our blog post: At Last! You Can Now Add Users to Your Moz Pro Account.

I wish I could pay my bill with excuses.

Thanks for the update! Patiently waiting, but looking forward to it.

Tragically and frustratingly, it's been pushed back again. Right now, it's supposed to be delivered by the end of September, but I'm honestly not putting a lot of faith in the promises I hear after so many delays. Apparently, this project is massively harder, more complex, and more time-consuming than anyone at Moz imagined or predicted You have my sincere apologies and my genuine frustration alongside yours. I'm very disappointed we couldn't deliver this by now.
-
Just checking in ... it's been 4 months since Rand's last comment with a prospective delivery date of June so I'm curious if a firm delivery date has been set for this functionality yet?
-
Hi
Same problem here. Do not understand why would moz allow one access. I mean we run a company and different departments thus individuals must access these data. I have to share my credentials with the while company to do so. This is a shame that moz have not thought about this. I mean it seams like they have not taken into accounts at all that we do not work alone !!!
-
Hi - I must say as a new (Currently on free trial) customer. I must say this is a must-have for me.
As consultant I manage the SEO projects for my customers and would like to give different people access to different campaigns.Do you have an update about this, because Juni is just a few days away..
-
Good news - we started working on it this quarter with the intention of having it launched by end of March. Bad news - a problem came up - we've been having serious troubles with billing and credit cards and found a ton of bugs, errors, and not applying best practices in our billing system. As a result, all the effort for this team was diverted on Sarah's instruction (I think she made the right call - we can't survive as a company if we don't get billing right). Sadly, this means the multi-seat project is now delayed until Q2. I'm hopeful they'll get it done by June.
-
Would like to know how the meeting went and if there is a launch date yet? Thanks!
-
I can totally understand your frustration. Being transparent, as a founder, the speed at which this project is going is infuriatingly slow. We've prioritized it numerous times in the past 2 years, only to see crisis after crisis (or roadblock after roadblock) hold us up. The delay with the new website and Moz Analytics from 2012-2013, the issues with the Moz Analytics launch into 2014, then permissions and user issues, followed by billing challenges... It's been very tough to see.
However, there's no excuse for not delivering what is, literally, the number one most requested feature. In Q1 of 2015, this was, once again priortized, and we've asked dev teams to put aside their other work to implement it (there's a ton of cross-team requirements so every group - research tools, Moz Analytics, Local, Inbound Engineering, Test, TechOps, etc - has to do work to make it happen). This coming Monday, Chris Young from our product team is presenting the plan to the management team (myself included, even though I'm technically an individual contributor these days). I don't know if we'll get this out by April (the target we established at the start of January), but I feel confident it will happen in Q2.
My sincere apologies for the delay and thank you for holding our feet to the fire - I'll be sure to refer to this thread in our Monday meeting.
-
This seems to be taking more time than what Moz is worth. I have multiple EMEA and APAC partners that need to have access to JUST EMEA and APAC sites ... I don't want them to have access to the whole WebSphere.
The initial request dates back 2 years now and yet you folks have not yet figured out how to enable limited access through login?!?
Quit jerking us around and tell us if you are actually going to do this or if you are just paying lip service please ...
Thanks
-
Man. I love Moz and moz products, but this whole thread is crazy given how people are surely using / want to use moz.com subscriptions.
Hope this arrives very soon, Chris!
-
I'd really love to see this feature as well. Any updates?
-
Given we are paying a minimum of circa $1200 a year for this, surely you can sort the multi-user issue? This has been a bug for years now.
-
We just started using Moz for our site at Skylight, we like the product and the service but not having multiple team option is causing us huge issues here because I don't want to share all the campaigns with everyone, as we have client sites as well now on Moz. this thread is almost 2 years old and i am wondering if Moz is continually updated/developed or not? and why is that feature not implemented yet, after 2 YEARS? shall i take my business somewhere else?
-
Any updates here? Anyone working in a company within a SEO confronts that question - pls implement that as soon as possible.
-
Please implement this, it would make the price worthwhile.
-
This is a pretty basic feature for users. How can you still be working on this since 2012?
-
18 months later, Moz still can't roll out support for multiple users?! That's quite disappointing to say the least.
-
No, we don't have this available yet. We'll be sure to make a big announcement when it is ready.
-
Has this happened yet? I would like to officially give access to my Pro account to my business partner (and husband) so that he has his own profile when posting questions on the forum.
-
Hey Pianoscott,
Unfortunately, I don't have a great answer for you about how much longer it will be before we have the ability to add other users to your account.
Moz has been working really hard to improve the current toolset, both backend data collectors as well as many UI improvements. This has meant that we were not able to focus on adding multi-seat. However, now that many of these updates have been released, we are prioritizing new feature improvements such adding another user to your account. We are still in the preliminary stages of planning, and we do not have an ETA. We're sorry that we haven't gotten this out sooner, and we promise to keep everyone informed.
I highly recommend that you subscribe to this forum, where you can give your feedback directly to our product team and get a notification whenever the post is updated: https://seomoz.zendesk.com/entries/20199538-Is-there-a-way-I-could-add-another-user-to-access-my-PRO-account-
I hope this information is helpful. Please let us know if you have any other questions.

Just wanted to echo the other comments here as well. I really need to have a multi-user ability. I need SEO vendor, Web Developer, Content writer, other business partners, etc... all kinds of people to see what I am seeing. Thanks for working on this. How much LONGER!??
-
Sorry this is taking so long. We've run into some roadblocks along the way, but this is definitely still something we're working on. Unfortunately, we don't have a set release date right now. We'll keep you updated when we get more information, though!
-
Any update on this? This seems to have been in development for the best part of the year.
-
It's a bit more of a complex task than we originally envisioned, but it is in progress, I promise!
-
Still not out. We keep waiting.
-
Hi Everyone! This is Megan from SEOmoz. Just thought I'd chime in here with an update. Right now we suggest letting other people know you're login information if you'd like them to have access to your campaigns. We know this isn't ideal, though, so we are working on a multi-seat option. This should be ready within the next few months, so keep an eye out!
-
Hi Bernardo,
You can certainly share your login credentials with the contractor. We don't put any restrictions on how many people can be logged into the account at one time and that is the only way to share access to the data, so you are more than welcome to share your credentials, but the contractor will have full access to the account.
As ColinSV mentions, you can also create a custom report that cc's the contractor directly when the report is generated, so they can review the campaign data without having full access to the account.
I hope this helps. Let me know if you have any other questions.

Good questions. I would like to be able to run my campaigns similarly to how I manage my GA and WMT accounts, by granting access to my various profiles to allow my team to work on them, while not divulging my account's access.
Considering the price you pay for even basic PRO this should be an option.
-
You could always customize a report and have it emailed weekly to your consultant. Not quite the same, I know - but an easy way to share data with someone without having them log in as you.
-
I have no idea. I guess you are not the only one who'd like to have more users for one account.
Off course you CAN share your login details with others, I'm just saying that officially it's not allowed
-
"officially it isn't even allowed to share your login details with others"
Why is that? My campaign is full of very important information about my website, a person which is paying a consultant should have the ability to give that information to him.
Is there some sort of comprehensive auto-generated report I can make from my campaign?
-
Hi Bernardo,
Unfortunately it isn't possible to add more users to your account and officially it isn't even allowed to share your login details with others.

Functionality of SEOmoz crawl page reports
I am trying to find a way to ask SEOmoz staff to answer this question because I think it is a functionality question so I checked SEOmoz pro resources. I also have had no responses in the Forum too it either. So here it is again. Thanks much for your consideration! Is it possible to configure the SEOMoz Rogerbot error-finding bot (that make the crawl diagnostic reports) to obey the instructions in the individual page headers and http://client.com/robots.txt file? For example, there is a page at http://truthbook.com/quotes/index.cfm month=5&day=14&year=2007 that has – in the header -

<meta name="robots" content="noindex"> </meta name="robots" content="noindex"> This page is themed Quote of the Day page and is duplicated twice intentionally at http://truthbook.com/quotes/index.cfm?month=5&day=14&year=2004 and also at http://truthbook.com/quotes/index.cfm?month=5&day=14&year=2010 but they all have <meta name="robots" content="noindex"> in them. So Google should not see them as duplicates right. Google does not in Webmaster Tools.</meta name="robots" content="noindex"> So it should not be counted 3 times? But it seems to be? How do we gen a report of the actual pages shown in the report as dups so we can check? We do not believe Google sees it as a duplicate page but Roger appears too. Similarly, one can use http://truthbook.com/contemplative_prayer/ , here also the http://truthbook.com/robots.txt tells Google to stay clear. Yet we are showing thousands of dup. page content errors when Google Webmaster tools as shown only a few hundred configured as described. Anyone? Jim0 -

SEOMoz reports and 404 errors
My SEOMoz report shows a 404 error, found today for this url: http://globalheavyhaul.com/google.com i do not have this anchor text anywhere on my website. How did Roger figure out that somebody looked for that page? Do I need to worry about 404 errors that are the result of user mistakes, instead of actual bad links?

How can you set SEOmoz to work with your dev site behind an htpasswd?
All sites need to be developed from the small to the grand - and this takes time. Development usually takes place on a subdomain different from our live domain. It is locked down behind an htpasswd during development so its not picked up by searching engines - that may create duplicate content issues if when the site goes live it has already scanned our site on the development server. Its also a security implementation to keep the site away from prying eyes before its ready for launch There could be security holes that have not been tweaked. Whats the best strategy to get SEOmoz involved in this scenario. Its tools are invaluable to the SEO part of the build - but the seomoz crawler bot has a different IP address (being cloud based) - so we cannot just let a single IP address through our htpasswd. Also is there a way to link the dev and live site in seomoz - so when it goes live to maintain all teh same logs without having to create two seperate site campaigns? Thanks!

My campaigns are not analyzing all my pages.
Hi I created a campaign against http://www.universalpr.com, and this campaign reports that only one page has been crawled. This site uses a jsvascript redirect to the real page which can be found through the following: www.universalpr.com/wps/portal/universal/univhome/!ut/p/c5/04_SB8K8xLLM9MSSzPy8xBz9CP0os_hQdwtfCydDRwN_Jw9LA0-LAOPQYCdDI_9QY_1wkA6zeAMcwNFA388jPzdVPzi1WL8gO68cANNcdLU!/dl3/d3/L2dBISEvZ0FBIS9nQSEh/ Now I also attempted to create a campaign against this page in case that the javascript redirect was breaking things, but that campaign also reported 1 page crawled. Can anyone instruct me as to what I'm doing wrong? Thank you
