RE: Increasing Google Ad spend - is it worth it
You can generate the conversions scripts when you click 'Conversions' under 'Tools and analysis' in the top menu of the AdWords interface. You insert this script on the page that is loaded after visitors have filled in and submitted the form.
With other targeting methods I mean methods that don't use keywords, such as targeting certain interest categories.

RE: Increasing Google Ad spend - is it worth it
First of all increasing your budget will only make sense when you are reaching your daily budget sometimes now and it is limiting your number of impressions and clicks. If you are not reaching your daily budget at the moment, but you'd like to increase your impressions and clicks then you should look into new potential keywords that can be added to the campaign (or use other targeting methods for display campaigns).
Since your goal is to generate leads with your campaign it is important that you start tracking how many leads your campaign generates and at what cost. You can use a conversion script from AdWords to track the number of form submissions.
I think it is important to get insight in the performance of your campaign at the moment, before you decide whether to increase your spend or not.

RE: Canonical tag?
You can also change your parameter setting in webmaster tools to tell google not to index these pages. You can find this URL-parameters setting under configuration.
For further information on possible usage of the canonical tag this post from Dr. Pete from earlier this week might be helpful!

RE: Backlinks from foreign language websites?
Building links on fx. english websites that are related to yours can definitely help your site rank better. Try to find a good balance between links from slovakian and non slovakian websites though.
Ask yourself if the link you build would be useful to visitors of that site. If the answer is yes, you can usually say it's a valuable link.

RE: Confused - SEOMoz Reporting On Different Domains?
Yes there is an export option. It's in the top right corner of your 'Rankings report' page.
Just choose 'full rankings report to csv' and you will get a column with all your campaign keywords.

RE: Confused - SEOMoz Reporting On Different Domains?
It doesn't really matter as long as you don't use any other subdomains. When you redirect all traffic to the www. subdomain I would keep that one.

RE: How to track affiliate ads on Google analytics
What is it exactly that you'd like to track? How would you define the goals you'd like to set up?
I think the only thing you can track is the impressions and clicks on the ads. You can't see what users are doing on the site of the advertiser (if they convert fx.), because this is not taking place on your site. Usually the affiliate platform / network can give you more statistics about this.

RE: Are reciprocal internal links weaker than one way?
Hi Paul,
Reciprocal linking is more something that can devaluate external links. When it comes to internal linking this isn't really a problem. You can definitely include that link when you think it's benificial to your visitors.

RE: Iframed data on external sites
Hi Rasmus,
Because the content in the iframe is hosted on your site the content within this frame will also be assigned to your site by search engines. So in fact you are linking to yourself.
I don't really know what the best solution would be to be honest. Maybe you can create some kind of feed that others can integrate on their site. Or create a WordPress plugin?
Good luck!

RE: Ranking report problem
About the rankings: did the tool show rankings for those keywords before? If so, I would write SEOmoz support to help you out (or wait until tuesday to see what happens). If those keywords are recently added you'll just have to wait until the new update.
The drop in the errors in huge indeed. Do you know what kind of errors it were? Did you change a lot on the site? It's hard to give you an answer not knowing the issues.

RE: Weekly on-page SEO report problem
I believe it only gives you the most changed on-page reports. Since on-page report grades won't change as much as rankings (at least it's less likely), it doesn't really make sense getting an updated report each week. You can always run a test on a single page for any keyword manually using the on-page report card tool.

RE: Does MozAuthority calculates the MozAuthority of each incoming link?
I think you mean either DomainAuthority or mozRank when you mention MozAuthority. mozRank is similar to Google's PageRank and Domain Authortiy is a metric based on a combination of all domain ranking factors.
As far as I know mozRank is mainly based on the number of inbound links and the populairity of the websites that link to you. So here your assumption will be true.
With Domain Authority a lot of other metric are taken into consideration as well to calculate the final score, such as domain trust metrics, social signals, etc.

RE: Replacing website, same URL, lose ranking
Hi Laura,
The link profile should be unchanged, unless you have changed the url structure. So it's important to check if all the url's of the web pages other than the homepage are also unchanged or that you have at least used redirects.
Also have a good look at the on-page optimisation for the page that ranked well for 'teeth whitening glasgow'.
Besides this there are loads of other elements that might have changed in the new site and had an effect on your rankings. (changed internal linking, content etc.)
Good luck!

RE: When testing the on page report I'm having a few problems
The On-Page optimization tool only checks the optimization of (as the name of the tool says) a specific page. It doesn't check other pages on your site as well.
So let's says you put in www.joelolson.ca in the URL-field, then it only checks that (home)page for a specific keyword. If you want to check the optimization of another page you have to fill in that specific page's URL.

RE: CPA bidding advice needed please?
I would use target CPA. This option gives AdWords more flexibility to generate conversions and it tries to keep the average CPA over a longer period below your target CPA. As target CPA you put a price that you are happy to pay for a conversion. (Don't lower the recommended bid too much)
Since your campaign's main goal is to drive conversions, I would choose the 'optimise for conversions' Ad rotation option. After a while you can remove ads that have a low converison rate and add new ones, based on your best performing ads.
Good luck!

RE: Page authority 1 for new URLs
I believe it's because SEOmoz didn't crawl your site with the new url structure yet, while Google did. Check the figures again after the first linkscape update!
