Easiest way to build backlinks?

I am working on lancing sites to get projects and my workers are not of that caliper to give each client Info-graphics/Guest blogging.
Other than great great content.Whats the easiest way I can still apply with great care to build backlinks.
-Forum posting on relevant sites with great care.Only relevant areas changing anchortext.
-Blog posts with minimum OBL.
-Web 2.0 properties with unique content.
-Press release with open URL.
-Directory submission on PR sites.
-Article submission on Ezine and other article sites.
-yahoo and other answering sites.
Are these linkbuilding methods still I can use by giving value to others.Not add thanks this this that but working on proper relevant replies adding value.

Even with a good article approved by ezine or hubpage or ehow with backlink in it is bad?
I am not saying creating an article,spinning it and submitting it to hundred plus sites.A single article with submission to Top Article directories like Ezine,Hubpages.
One article for one Article site. -
avoid directory submissions and article submissions, the other stuff isn't horrible if you're very smart about it.

Hi, we are trying to improve on the number of links to our website. A supplier has added a PDF file which is case study to their website. In the PDF it has a link to our website, will this count as a link or not? Thanks

A backlinks question
Hi all Could do with a second opinion on this one if anyone has a moment please. Recent Google updates have targeted overally optimised backlink profiles as they are clearly for seo purposes and not natural. The question I have is how does this relate to an ecommerce website? If I sell 'blue 1980 aged cheese' (I know nothing about cheese so perhaps not the best example!!) and I have a url on my shop domain.com/store/blue-1980-aged-cheese with the product name as the page title along with the domain name. If I were to get backlinks pointing to this page using the anchor of 'blue 1980 aged cheese' (and other variations of that, blue cheese, aged blue cheese etc) would this be considered to be too optimised? Given the page is about this item then surely it could be considered natural that people link using the product name, as well as using the site name and the domain url Any thoughts please Thanks, Carl

Link Building Strategy Advice
Hi, I was wondering what everyone's general strategy is for link building. We're doing it all ourselves manually (i.e. not paying $5 for 100,000 links) and are using the Site Explorer tool to find links to competitors and related websites. The majority of sites are blogs and directories which ask for payment ($50 per month for example). We're obviously looking for free links as well but we're finding that pretty much every site wants something in return (cash or reciprocal link) - unless the content is amazing, why would anyone link to another site without an incentive? We're focussing heavily on content and writing articles, blogs, press releases every week but the subject matter isn't always exciting enough for someone to really want to link to it naturally. Thoughts?

Is publishing content on multiple platforms like Tumblr, Blogger, Posterous, etc. a legit way to build backlinks?
My client has a fishing report that is published weekly on his blog. Would it be wise to syndicate that content on these other services with backlinks baked into each one? Any thoughts?
