SEO difference between having a Google+ Brand and Google+ Business page?

Functionally the Google+ Brand and Business pages seem to be exactly the same, but does having one or the other have an effect on SEO? Is it better to have both?

Google Plus Company Page Verification

Hi How do you test successful G+ company page/publisher integration/verification if using the less technical methods such as linking between the Home page and the G+ company page instead of adding code to the head section? Since i take it the google structured data testing tool cant work in these cases since no code on the head section ! Is it best to add the code anyway ? I note my clients still not achieving a knowledge graph card/section in the search results for a branded search but i have heard that doesnt come until you have at least hundreds of followers and/or G+ interactions. Best strategy for Multilanguage Google+ Business Page(s) & rel publisher

Hello! I have many troubles defining a clear Google + strategy. Let's say I have one brand, say "reallycoolbarcelona" (because Barcelona is really cool!), 1 google place in Barcelona, and many websites with local ccTLD to promote the brand in different countries: reallycoolbarcelona.fr, reallycoolbarcelona.es, reallycoolbarcelona.co.uk, reallycoolbarcelona.it, reallycoolbarcelona.de. 1/ Now, how to handle that in Google+?
==> Shall I create one single page for all languages in Google+? (But then I cannot transfer Google Place to Google Local +?)
Then I would put the rel publisher of this page on all my websites? ==> Or shall I create one Google + page per language?
Then I would put the rel publisher of each language page on the corresponding website based on the language (french Google + page publisher on the french website only)? 2/ Now how did you manage to create a +SEOMoz page in Google+? By that, I mean a page with a clean url plus.google.com/+SEOMoz (that's so cool!) and not the scary url https://plus.google.com/b/1234567890 Thanks for enlighting my blurred mind about Google + multilingual strategies!

Since there is no way to promote your posts on google plus it is difficult to target the audience that is in one particular niche. What are good ways to connect to a larger circle if one is in a very small niche with very few professionals?

Should you have both google authorship & publisher set up on a website?

I have read that its a good idea to have both rel=author & rel= publisher set up on a website If so What is the best way to set it up to where rel=author and rel=publisher appear in your website source code? I use wordpress genesis site and have the Yoast seo plugin **In the user profile section on WP there is an area to enter google Authorship link **In the Yoast dashboard there is a place to enter google publisher link. When I check my source code…….I see rel=publisher only on the home page, however ALL my other WordPress Pages and Posts have rel=author. Does that sound correct?

Can I use a customized Google+ icon?

I just want to ask if it is possible to use a customized Google+ icon. I am confused after I have read this "For buttons that may be rendered by the Publisher, such as the Sharing Link, the Publisher must use only the official Google-provided icon or a plain text and link combination. source: http://www.google.com/intl/en/webmasters/+1/button/policy.html Thanks in advance! 🙂

I have to update my data in 3 separate place is there anyway to just update one area and it filters into all required places. I have a 1)Google+ places page 2)Google+ profile page, what I would expect others to use for my business 3)Google+ page seems to be the one I should be using for my business? Google News Application

I am wondering what I can do to get my site into Google News. I have followed their guidelines but had my site declined. I have a news sitemap, a staff page, a contact page with all info provider, etc etc. But my application was denied. One my largest competitors just got accepted so I would love to get in.
