Hei Guys.
I think i know the answer for this one but i thought i ask you in order to be 100% sure. Ok let's go..
So i set up url based goals in Google analytics. My website (what are running on WordPress) has google analytics enabled but just before customers makes desired action i have to send them to the application page. Trick is that the application page is not running on wordpress and doesn't have google analytic tracking.
After customer fills the application form i send him to my /thank-you page on my wordpress site.
My question is: Does the conversion still count because customer left my website for a minute in order to fill in the application form?

No. Google states, "An exact match is a match on every exact character in your URL—without
exception—from beginning to end."If you want to account for both /thank-you and /thank-you/, you could set up two goals to track them. Ideally you should only be linking to one version, but setting up 2 goals would also fix that problem.

If i use "Exact match" as a match type does
/thank-you and /thank-you/ both counts as a completed goal?

Hi Tauri,
If you have the GA tracking on your /thank-you page and visitors leave and come back to that page, the goal will have been fulfilled. It does not matter that they left your site, it matters that they have accessed your /thank-you page.

Attribution of conversions to payment gateway in Google Analytics
Hi all, We have been having a problem for a while now where most transactions are attributed to referrals from our payment gateway Sagepay. The issue started a couple of months ago, when we finally upgraded our website to https:// for logged in users and transactions. Before, when we were using http://, transactions were attributed to the correct channel. Even weirder, we upgraded 4 websites and only 2 of them have the issue now, the other two continue to attribute transactions correctly. I added Sagepay to the referral exclusion list which made no difference. Over the weekend, we upgraded to the global site tag and it seems to have improved somewhat, but yesterday 50% of transactions were still attributed to referral/sagepay. I am also seeing an odd issue, where for half of the transactions, the revenue and transaction are attributed to one channel, but the products (quantity) are attributed to another. One of the channels is always referral/sagepay and the other is the channel that the transaction should be attributed to. Has anyone seen this issue before? I'd appreciate any tips that might help us fix this issue. Thanks in advance!

Cant find eCommerce in Google Analytics
Ciao from Wetherby UK, Ok ive done this a zilion times but since Google analytics upgraded I cant find how to upgarde the tracking code to ecoomerce tracking. Before i would just tick a box and Boomshanka the code would change. Whats got me worried the tracking codes has not modified to ecoomerce is because it looks like this: Heres the tracking dashboard with no sign of ecomm tracking customisations:

How to not track mobile redirects in Google Analytics
If a user is on a mobile device and comes to our home page, http://www.darden.virginia.edu/web/Home/ they are redirected to http://m.darden.virginia.edu/web/Home/. We want a way to remove all the redirects from our Google analytics reports. More specifically we do not want to include the the page view of http://www.darden.virginia.edu/web/Home/ in our page view count when the user is on a mobile device. How do we do that?

Localhost:4444 Showing Up in Google Analytics
Hello All, Lately in my Google Analytics account I have noticed a referral source labelled: localhost:4444 The number of visits is really high from this source, but I have no idea (no clue!) what it actually means. Can anyone shed some light on what this is about? Should I be creating some sort of filter to screen out this as a referral source (assuming it is not legitimate)? Many thanks in advance. Cheers!

Google Keyword Tool versus Google Analytics
Hi I'm trying to establish a methodology to best show the gap between potential and realised organic keyword traffic. To obtain potential keyword traffic I'm using the Google Adwords keyword tool to derive local monthly search volumes for exact keyword matches. To get the realised data I'm using Google Analytics. However, to get the I'm confused as to which is the best way of getting a comparable metric from Google Analytics (GA). I was using custom reports and the 'organic searches' metric. However, this provides different values to a standard report selecting non-paid search in the default advanced segments. What is the best report/metric in GA to use for both organic and paid search volumes that would be comparable to the Google Adwords keyword tool. Thanks Neil
