Discrepancy between followed links. How do you explain this?

My external followed links over time have gone from 346 in late November to 402.

Total external links have gone from 400 to 457.

Followed linking root domains dropped from 125 to 102 (How do I find out why?).

Total Linking Root Domains Over Time dropped from 152 to 126.

Linking C-Blocks dropped from 124 to 42.

How did I increase my links but drop the other stuff?

I have noticed some similar trends in my numbers.

Did you note any change in DA or any of the MOZ trust numbers? Mine have been wacky...

Conflict in reported link data

I have a competitor in a campaign - the campaign report shows 181 linked domains BUT - the site explorer report shows only 15 linked domains. Which is correct? And if the site explorer is correct - how do we fix the campaign report? Competitive Link Finder

Hi, just wondering if I am the only one who is not having much luck lately using the Competitive Link Finder . In the past it has worked pretty well. But as of the past week or so, it has only returned on link. I know there are many of them which should be found. Anyway, just curious if I am solo with this issue.

Links counted in Google Webmaster Tools vs. OpenSiteExplorer

Hi all SEOmozzers, site: http://f8phototravel.pl I have (in my GMT profile) 43 domains linking. Among them one of the biggest Polish like: onet.pl (5/187), gazeta.pl (8/393), grono.net.pl, canon-board.info, eturystyka.org and other. They are not present in OpenSiteExplorer. Any ideas why? How can the differences between Moz and Majestic's link totals be explained?

Hello, Newbie here so this might be a really daft question.... We've a few accounts and are trialling different software - across a few campaigns, we're seeing big differences in link numbers from different software (namely Moz and Majestic). I'm assuming there is a really good reason for it - just can't find what it is! Thanks in advance!

BOTW links not recognized by Open Site Explorer

Hi there, I was wondering if I buy a submission to the Best of the Web directory (waiting for the new directory list promised by the seomoz team 🙂 ) but when I get to the category on BOTW website that will fit for my website, I took some links already there and put them on open site explorer to see their value, I had the surprise they are not even recognized... So I am still wondering if it is worth or not... voilà , if anybody knows if this directory still has value...
