Any special way to rank a youtube vid in google page 1 for a kw?

I've failed to rank a youtube video before , I don't know why.. but do you guys have something that can help me to rank a youtube video to google page one?
backlinks? If yes, then what type of backlinks? Just like backlinking articles and websites?

I think there are a few things to look at when ranking a video on youtube. . .
- Comments
- Video Responses
- Likes & Shares
- Website Embeds
- Title & Description
- Amount Of Views/Duration They Watch The Video For
Thats what I would look at anyway, hopefully someone else will give us their input too

We are a bridal store selling wedding dresses and bridesmaids dresses. We are wanting to know how much our URL and page title can differ, whilst still optimising SEO. For example, for the category Wedding Dresses, the URL contains wedding dresses, so can we use " the best wedding dresses in Sydney" in the page title? For the bridesmaid dresses (URL is /bridesmaiddresses/) can we use " buy best bridesmaid dresses online in Australia"? Can we use terms such as "buy best black dress in sydney", "buy online in australia" or "shop online in sydney" in the alt-tag, additional from the page title .i.e. adding extra keywords in the alt-tag that do not appear in the title? Would this be classified as keyword stuffing? Google + local Multiple Locations
My client has three offices and I have created three separate Google + local listings for them - I have listed the specific locations page as the website address for each - Google specifies to add the coding to the homepage to link Google + however what do we do with the three different codes - does each one go on the home page or at the bottom of the specific landing page for that particular office?

Trying to Merge Google + Local and Google Business Page _ How to?
Hi I have been reading so many posts about merging Google Plus + (Places) accounts and the new Google + Business Pages. I am working with a business who has a verified account in both. How ( and in fact should we try and merge). The old Places page has a review the newly create Business Page does not but is better optimized. How do I correctly use YouTube?
Hello! I have a someone that does online guitar lessons - their site is www.frethub.com. They use YouTube videos to promote the lessons on their site like this one - http://youtu.be/C1dOYys0H14, they're not the complete lesson but an intro to entice them on. The videos are of a really high quality and have had a few hundred hits in a couple of months - when I did a search on YouTube for "ledato guitar lesson" as an example they were nowhere to be seen despite the quality of the video and using tags etc. Anyway long intro! What I was wondering is are the rankings on YouTube based predominantly on number of hits or is there a way to use the tags better (presently they put in keywords and what comes up in the autosuggest), does how recently they were uploaded, author authority etc have anything to do with it? I appreciate it's a massive subject so any help is much appreciated 🙂 Thanks alot!

How does google decide what city a blog belongs to?
I'm trying to build links from more local blogs at the moment and considering a huge list of blogs that are in my city, of which many do accept guest posts. I'm trying to discover a metric to thin this list down further. Is there any way of finding out if google considers a specific blog to be local to a certain area? What signals does google consider when it is making this analysis? Is it the content? or is it the "about the blog author" section? Thanks, Storwell

So now that Google are going to remove 3rd party citations from listings, will they still carry the same weight for local rankings or will this be reduced? If so, how much and when?

Why is here no extra section for Google Shopping
does really nobody care for the most important search result for shops beside organic result? google shoping results mostly pop up in organic results on 3rd place. Vertical SEO Video, Image, Local etc. etc. is not really Shopping Results!

Google Places - Different NAP on various directories...
My client's veterinary clinic uses a service called Localvets.com which is a division of Yext.com. This service updates listings and sponsors them across various directories. Since this is a referral service (they get paid for new clients) they use a custom phone number and custom website address for these listings. Question: Is this hurting the SEO potential of the Google Places listing since the N.A.P. are not the same? Thoughts?
