hi
these are all relatively high ranking /authority websites, so you will have a lot of work to do before you will rank above them.
what is the purpose of your website? are you a food blog? do you just really love breakfast cereal? are you really into the history of cereal? those are the kinds of things you can write about. if you are passionate about what you are talking about, you should be able to figure out the content end of it. if you're just trying to rank for a term, and don't have the content to back it up, it's going to be REALLY difficult.
community may also have a place on this. let's say you can tap into fans of kellog's cereals. go find them on facebook and twitter and pull them into your website content.
good luck!

What Keyword density would you suggest?
I have been experimenting a little bit with desc lengths and keyword density. Sometimes MOZ says keyword stuffing and google ranks higher the page with higher density. Obviously, it can't be artificially packed with keywords but putting more than GWT/SEO suggestions sometimes comes with a good result. What is your Experience? if you decide to extend the description to 5000+ characters would you hide this to Javascript or kept it all on the page? Bottom or Top. Does it really matter? (We are talking about e-commerce category page)

Question - Hidden Content via 'Read More;'
Hi, Does having text in hidden areas (that are expandable with a button) harm their value in SEO? E.g. there are 'read more' areas on the homepage of this site that have content that is not accessible otherwise. Does this content have the same weight when it is hidden versus if this whole area was visible? http://goo.gl/QQvAZ

Does a directory running on a subdomain help or hurt SEO on the main site?
I have a blog, with a directory on the subdomain: directory.fbforbusinessmarketing.com. Is that smart for SEO, as it gives the overall domain more traffic? Or bad for SEO because of the different topics and all those outbound links? I'd appreciate opinions. Thanks.

What is the best practice for using the same content on two pages?
I have two websites in a very similar niche(s)...I have good unique content article that I would like to use on both sites because it adds value to the visitor experience.. Example: Science of Colors would be very useful for my seattle house painting paint colors page. I want to have content so they do not need to leave the site to navigate to second site. Would the identical content trigger a penalty or would it be crawled, ignored, and not indexed. Does having a rel=authorship on one site trump the site..Or is it a pile of BAD.

Is it possible to over create/post content?
My company has signed up with a vendor to help write content. They are going to be supplying 50 articles per month so we'd basically be adding 2 or more articles per day. Is that too much or is that okay as long as it's quality content?

WHAT IF YOU ARE NOT IN THE BUSINESS OF PRODUCING CONTENT
A lot of SEO is focusing on content these days and having unique blogs and articles. I understand how this would be great for a search engine, but doesn't that leave out businesses that are not there to make content but only want to advertise their services?
