Hi, the SEOMOZ crawl diagnostics shows that this page:

www.tarifakitesurfcamp.com/wp-login.php is blocked (noindex, nofollow)

Is there any problem with that?

Unless you have relevant information for your users on the log in page (i.e. for your private use) then it's probably a good idea not to index it!

Nope, that's perfectly fine since that's your login page for Wordpress.

If you're linking to the page from anywhere on your site (which you really shouldn't be), you could update the meta robots tag to (noindex, FOLLOW), but since it looks like the page has no links, it shouldn't be necessary.

Are there detrimental effects of having multiple robot tags

Hi All, I came across some pages on our site that have multiple robot tags, but they have the same directives. Two are identical while one is for Google only. Can I robots.txt an entire site to get rid of Duplicate content?

I am in the process of implementing Zendesk and will have two separate Zendesk sites with the same content to serve two separate user groups (for the same product-- B2B and B2C). Zendesk does not allow me the option to changed canonicals (nor meta tags). If I robots.txt one of the Zendesk sites, will that cover me for duplicate content with Google? Is that a good option? Is there a better option. I will also have to change some of the canonicals on my site (mysite.com) to use the zendesk canonicals (zendesk.mysite.com) to avoid duplicate content. Will I lose ranking by changing the established page canonicals on my site go to the new subdomain (only option offered through Zendesk)? Thank you.

Can Robots.txt on Root Domain override a Robots.txt on a Sub Domain?

We currently have beta sites on sub-domains of our own domain. We have had issues where people forget to change the Robots.txt and these non-relevant beta sites get indexed by search engines (nightmare). We are going to move all of these beta sites to a new domain that we disallow all in the root of the domain. If we put fully configured Robots.txt on these sub-domains (that are ready to go live and open for crawling by the search engines) is there a way for the Robots.txt in the root domain to override the Robots.txt in these sub-domains? Apologies if this is unclear. I know we can handle this relatively easy by changing the Robots.txt in the sub-domain on going live but due to a few instances where people have forgotten I want to reduce the chance of human error! Robots file include sitemap

Hello, I see that google, facebook and moz... have robots.txt include sitemap at the footer.
Eg: http://www.google.com.vn/robots.txt Sitemap: http://www.google.com/sitemaps_webmasters.xml
Sitemap: http://www.google.com/ventures/sitemap_ventures.xml Should I include my sitemap file (sitemap.xml) at the footer of robots.txt and why should do this? Thanks,

Using Robots Meta Tag on Review Form Pages

I have gone over this so many times and I just can't seem to get it straight and hope someone can help me out with a couple of questions: Right now, on my dynamically created pages created by filters (located on the category pages) I am using rel""canonical" to point them to their respective category page. Should I also use the robots meta tag as well? Similarly, each product I have on my site has a review form on it and thus is getting indexed by Google. I have placed the same canonical tag on them as well pointing them to the page with the review form on it. In the past I used robots.txt to block google from the review pages but this didn't really do much. Should I be using the robots meta tag on these pages as well? If I used the robots meta tag should I noindex,nofollow? Thanks in advance, Jake

What's the best practice for implementing a "content disclaimer" that doesn't block search robots?

Our client needs a content disclaimer on their site. This is a simple "If you agree to these rules then click YES if not click NO" and you're pushed back to the home page. I have this gut feeling that this may cause an upset with the search robots. Any advice? R/ John
