Losing Page Rank after 301 redirect from http to www

Hi Guys
I have site-wide redirected all http// to www and all the category pages lost their page ranks (except home page). I would like to know if this is normal and is it one of the possible causes in losing keyword ranking?

In my experience, when you 301, you get about 60% of the PR to transfer. Somewhat guessing but we did the same thing, once all the dust settled our PR3 was a PR2 etc.
I would be interested to know if others had the same xp.

The toolbar PageRank doesn't update very frequently so if you moved your content to a new page it makes sense that you don't see any toolbar PageRank right away. It may reappear when Google makes their next update. However, the pages probably do have actual PageRank since the 301 redirect should transfer the authority from the old pages to the new pages. It just doesn't register yet for the toolbar PageRank that you can see.

The page ranks on most of the category pages were PR2 and up. Its now 0 after the redirect.

Did you check whether it was a proper 301 redirect that you did? You can use tools like HttpFox (firefox add-on for this). If so, how did you measure this loss in 'page ranks' (and what exactly do you mean by this?)

Changing from www to non-www impacting page authority?
I moved my website in May from Wix to Wordpress. Since then the home page authority has dropped from 27 to 16. The old website displayed as www.ajlansell.co.uk, but the new site is set to ajlansell.co.uk without the www (this was set by my hosting company). I tried changing the settings in Wordpress to www.etc, and the home page bounces back up to a page authority of 27 - but it messes up the menus and some other elements on the page so that the page is not displayed correctly. Is there any other way I can get that page authority back? Thanks.

If Product Pages Perform Well In Google then Is It Possible That Category Page Can perform Well In Google?
Hi All, For my ecommerce site I have optimized my product pages very nicely like good images, detailed information about products, good reviews, implemented schema for my product and reviews and very perfect onpage. Now my query is if my products pages performing well in google then there are chances that my category page rank well in google too? Thanks!

Google is now showing menus on select searches. Any idea how they are getting this information? I would like to make sure my clients get visibility this way.

Home Page Keywords not Ranking and Assigned to Inside Pages
Hi, thank you for taking the time to read this. We have a few websites with the same problem. I will use http://www.prepared-meals.com as an example: The home page was ranking on page one for keyword "Prepared Meals". The site is about 6 months old. We use the Moz page optimizer on all pages of our websites to score an A rating. Recently we found the home page is no longer showing up in search results and the keyword "prepared meals" now points to an inside page that is not relevant: http://www.prepared-meals.com/Senior-Meals/Moms-Meals-Reviews.html this page shows up for Prepared Meals around page 15 in Google results. We have read keywords in the URL might be the issue, even though the page optimizer in MOZ says to do that. We are wondering if this is the issue or there is some other problem we are not aware of. 301 to Intermediate Page then Rel=Canonical from Intermediate to target page
Hi I'm working on an eCommerce site and don't have direct access to the CMS. I had requested developers to provide me a facilty to 301 via htaccess however this is working slight differently. I need guidance from experts whether it's okay or not: Old Page: example.com/old Target New Page: example.com/new After Implementing the redirect, It redirects to an intermediate page or in other words, The same target URL with a question mark added: example.com/new? (notice the question mark in the new URL) This intermediate page has a canonical tag for the exact target URL. So, if I 301 redirect example.com/old to example.com/new? (Intermediate page) and If the intermediate page example.com/new? has a canonical tag for the exact target URL (example.com/new), Will I be able to pass the link juice and authority of old page to the new page?

My homepage no longer ranks for a keyword, instead a page from the blog now appears in the results
Hello, Our site used to rank for a specific keyword - "eco products", with a link going to the homepage. However, in the last few weeks, we've noticed that the home page no longer ranks for this keyword, and instead the second result on the page is a link to a catagory page on our blog. Results in the On-Page
