Stop words
-
Hi there, regarding Seo is the same to set an URL with the keyword containing de stopwords or without stopwords? The Yast SEO plugin told me that I didn't set the title relating to the keyword (I set it without "stop words" in the ttile) when I set the relevant keyword with stop words. What's convinient? Does the bot notice that there are stop words and processes the title with the keyword without them?
Thanks!

You'll find contradictory information on the subject and some SEOs will advice not to include stop words in the title, however, if as you say, the keyword set you're targeting explicitly contains it, I would still include it (i.e. wouldn't remove 'for' from 'homes for sale').
Now if we're talking about a high number of stop words that aren't particularly useful or descriptive, maybe it would be best to exclude them, especially from the URL (.i.e. 'a small guide of the black sea for you' could be better off with an URL like /black-sea-guide/).
IMO, I guess the best practice would be to use the title/URL that better describes your content and makes more sense for the users you're trying to engage.

Does it hurt SEO to build landing pages in HubSpot instead of directly in Word Press?
Our team's website is built in Word Press, but we use Hub Spot as our CRM. We are trying to determine if building landing pages in Hub Spot is going to hurt our SEO efforts and if it's better to build directly on Word Press.

Using the Same Word in Every URL
Just looking to get some opinions on this. Some coupon sites use "coupon" in all of their URLs - this is a practice I would avoid, as to me it is a little spammy. For example:

.com/amazon-coupons/
.com/ebay-coupons/
.com/walmart-coupons/
... and so on for thousands of other brands. I don't think this is necessary, as Google will understand from the content, backlinks and the domain name (including the word "coupon") that brand pages are coupon-focused. Any other thoughts on this?0 -
Ranking for a word when your image is showing up as #2?
I'm trying to rank for several specific words in my industry. I've noticed that many of the pages I'm trying to rank for the specific words, the main image of the page is being ranked. So my question is should I still try to rank my page even though the image is ranking as the first image displayed in the google results. Will this count against me by Google if I do? Or should I try to make the image being ranked more enticing for google searchers to try to increase traffic? Right now the images are not generating many clicks.

If I put 'keyword/url' combination to 'stop run weekly', will it dissapear from the summary page in the on-page grader?
The summary page of the on-page grader chooses the keyword and url combination itself. Now if I choose another combination, I would like the former to dissapear from the summary page. The only option is 'stop running weekly'. But will it disappear from the list also?

Get the startpage rank high for one word
Hi, This has maybe been asked many times. I wonder for example how our website www.hardtours.se can receive higher ranking for the word "hardstyle". Our competitor has "hardstyle" in the webadress and it feels useless to compete with them since it feels that having the name in the www adress is to hard to compete with. Or am i wrong?

How important is word count? I am using seomoz to make sure I get an A, but it does not include word count. I am in the middle of restructuring my website and I did not know if the word count is way too low.
