Does it hurt SEO to build landing pages in HubSpot instead of directly in Word Press?
-
Our team's website is built in Word Press, but we use Hub Spot as our CRM.
We are trying to determine if building landing pages in Hub Spot is going to hurt our SEO efforts and if it's better to build directly on Word Press.

Building landing pages in HubSpot can be a convenient option if you're already using it as your CRM. However, it's important to consider the potential impact on your SEO efforts. Here are some points to consider when deciding between building landing pages in HubSpot or WordPress:
Flexibility and customization: WordPress is a highly customizable platform that allows you to have full control over your website's design, structure, and SEO elements. With the wide range of plugins and themes available, you can optimize your landing pages for SEO and customize them to meet your specific needs. HubSpot's landing pages may have limitations in terms of design and customization compared to WordPress.
SEO optimization capabilities: WordPress offers numerous SEO plugins, such as Yoast SEO or All in One SEO Pack, which provide comprehensive optimization tools. These plugins allow you to optimize meta tags, headings, URLs, sitemaps, and more. While HubSpot does offer SEO features, it may not have the same level of flexibility and functionality as dedicated WordPress plugins.
Website performance: WordPress has a vast number of plugins and themes available, which can sometimes impact website performance if not optimized properly. On the other hand, HubSpot's landing pages are hosted on their platform, which ensures fast loading times and reliability. This could potentially benefit your SEO efforts as page speed is a ranking factor. However, with proper optimization, WordPress websites can also achieve excellent performance.
Integration with CRM: Since you're already using HubSpot as your CRM, building landing pages in HubSpot may offer tighter integration and data synchronization between your landing pages and CRM system. This can be advantageous for lead tracking, nurturing, and overall marketing automation efforts. However, if you're using WordPress, you can still integrate it with HubSpot or other CRM systems using plugins and API integrations.
Content management: WordPress is primarily known as a content management system (CMS), providing robust features for managing and organizing your website's content. If your landing pages require frequent content updates or if you have complex content management needs, WordPress might be a more suitable choice. HubSpot's content management capabilities are focused on marketing automation, so it may not be as robust for content-heavy websites

Building landing pages in HubSpot should not negatively impact your SEO efforts. In fact, HubSpot's landing page builder is designed to be SEO-friendly and includes features like custom meta descriptions, canonical URLs, and responsive design that can help improve your rankings. However, if you already have an established SEO strategy and infrastructure in WordPress, it may be beneficial to continue building landing pages there to maintain consistency and avoid any potential disruptions to your SEO efforts. Ultimately, the decision should depend on your specific needs and resources.

That makes sense- we definitely are not ranking higher than Hubspot.
I've installed the Elementor plug in to WP so it's easier to build and navigate.
Thank you!

Well building them in any platform having your domain is good. What you do on hubspots domain is hubspots SEO.
Unless you have a higher domain authority than hubspot, build it on WP

Keywords used to land on specific page?
Hi all, Does anyone know if there's anywhere where I can see what keywords are used in search engines to land on a specific page? I have access to the Google Analytics account and linked it to Moz as a campaign, but I can't find this data. I'm curious about this because a very uncommon word is used in a page title for a page I try to optimize. It's the Dutch translation of 'malicious'. And now I wonder if it's better to switch to a word that's used more often. Or if it's better to 'win the battle' on this (probably) rarely used word. I've used Google trends to see how many people use it, but it says there's not enough data to show the interest over time.

More Singular KW Targeted Landing Pages vs. Less Multiple KW Targeted Landing Pages
So my question is... I have a adopted a site which currently ranks quite well for some industry competitive keywords with a number of poor quality landing pages which specifically target a singular keyword. I am wondering if its worth merging some of these pages together into one authoritative, better quality landing page targeting multiple keywords (as the intent for some of these keywords are largely the same). What i don't want to do is jeopardise the existing rankings in doing so. The alternative option would just be to improve the content on the existing landing pages without merging. What are peoples thoughts on this? Are there any positive case studies out there where merging has had a positive effect? Any help would be great. Regards,

301 Redirect or landing page
Hi everyone. I'm currently doing some SEO for a client, at the moment he has some landing pages which are categorised, but the category is set as a 302 redirect. I have a dilemma whether to 301 redirect to the landing page or make a page for each category. The link structure is as follows - http://examplesite.co.uk/products/fire/company-1/product/ so currently this is set as a 302 redirect - http://examplesite.co.uk/products/fire/company-1/ Do I make this page a category page and link the page to the children with some on-page optimisation or 301 redirect it?

Post Pinguin Onpage Optimisation - How Do I Build the Perfectly Optimized Page?
Hello, So far I always follow the recomendations of the chocolate donuts example of Rand Fishkin on the Blogpost: How Do I Build the Perfectly Optimized Page? I also think that the onpage grades follow this rules. Do you think this is still all true after pinguin? Personally none of my websites have been afected by the update and I have an A grade on all my landing page. What do you think about the image alt text. Is it still a good idea to use the keyword? Are there any newer resources here on SEOMOZ (I didn't find any with my search)? Thanks for sharing your experiences.. Regards

Domain Name and On-Page SEO
Where are the best places to put your Domain name in On-Page SEO? My domain name ends in .net so I would like to put it as many places as possible to brand the .net . On the analysis page I have found out that it is not a good idea to put it in the title page...but that is what the SEO guy I hired told me to do. Thanks, Utah Tiger

On Page Optimisation Reports
Firstly sorry if this has already been answered - I did look I promise.
On-Page Optimization | | Jock
Secondly sorry if the answer to this is blatently obvious! In the process of trying to optimise my landing pages, I am using On Page Optimisation reports. I have several (ok lots) with F grades which is not surprising as the landing page is not the landing page optimised for a certain keyword. If I change the landing page to the one that I have for a certain keyword then hey presto A or B grade (clever me)! Now here's the thing - presumably the landing page that is listed by default is the one that Google "sees" for a particular keyword. How do I change this if I can or do I have to be patient or am I just being plain daft?! Many thanks0
