Any way to project what AdWords CTR will be?

Hi All,
I've just agreed to undertake an AdWords campaign for a client, and I was wondering if there was any competent way to project an estimate for what their CTR might be before the actual campaign begins?
I do know that the average Google gave in 2012 was about 2%, although I've read that a diligent content marketer can certainly achieve double digits.
I'm just trying to figure out how to roughly quantify what CTR might be for the client before we get started, and if there was a way to do that **per keyphrase **that would be so much the better.
Does anyone have a formula they use? Any ideas?

Ah yes, I suspected that there would simply be too many variables to tell without actually getting our hands dirty

If you have experimented with different copies of your ads, you probably know that CTR can vary significantly - in the same SERPs, for the same offer.
CTR can also vary depending upon your bid and where you will position in the ad auction.
You can also write ads with FREE BEER or some other fantastic come-on and that can shoot your CTR up and have no impact on your number of sales yet increase your spend enormously.
So, the answer to your question is "no".

What's the best SEO way to benefit from your competitor's shutting down?
Hi ! Our main competitor is shutting down (website will be offline) at the end of the month and we are negotiating with them to buy their domain name: the idea would be to take advantage of their good rankings in the SERPs to redirect traffic to our pages (we're planning to crawl their site or get their sitemap and redirect th category / product pages to ours). The question is: for how long this strategy will be useful: days / weeks / months? (= for how long their pages will continue to appear in the SERPs from the day we enable the 301 redirections to our site?) Thanks in advance for your help! Fast way to extract admin email from blogs.
Could someone recommend a fast way to extract the admin email from blogs. Something that could potentially accept a CSV file extracted from opensiteexplorer. A lot of blogs obviously have this info hidden, but there must be a way to search/extract via a paid software or tool of some kind.

Best Way to Consolidate Domains/Rankings After Purchase of Competitor
One of my customers is buying a competitor. The competitor has a site that usually ranks just 1-2 spots below the main site that we manage for them (our site has been up for about a year, and their's is 15-years old). I am wondering what is the best way to consolidate the rankings/websites to take advantage of the purchase of the competitor's web assets. I would love to leave both sites up and just get 2 top-25 links to our products, but with no more marketing being done under the competitor's name, I assume their rankings will degrade. Would a basic 301 re-direct on a page-by-page basis be enough to 'steal' all of the juice their domain name/site has built? Is there some other method of using an older domain to boost the rankings of a newer one (I am assuming they only rank as well as we do because of how long they've been active - all of our metrics are better than theirs across the board). What is the best way to know your accurate ranking on google? what analytics are most trustworthy?
with seomoz, i rank on google in one spot. With market samurai, I rank in another spot, With KPMRS (or whatever) i rank another place. But then when i just type my keywords into google, it puts me in a whole different world... am confused... and the client i am trying to help rank higher is confused. Sites With Duplicate Content Ranking Way Higher
The site I am writing about is easendtorontohomes.com I don't get it. I see that some of my competitors have more inbound links and have been around longer. Their SEOmoz trust etc is also higher. But I don't get how many could possibly be ranking higher since they're sites are all template based site via Web Tech Design and the content is duplicated from one to the other. The other weird thing is that they do everything wrong - they stuff their keywords tag, some of them use the same keywords/meta data on every single page, some of them don't even have meta tags, some of them don't even have a blog with ANY original content. Apart from listings EastEndTorontoHomes.com has TONS of original, well-researched, and keyword rich content. I just don't get it. Is it possible that google has some sort of relationship with that company? Or am I totally missing something? Some of these sites include: tinasmith.ca, mikeclarke.com, teamkassen.com

PA and PD better than my competitors is a way to rank better?
I got a site that stuck in last position of google's first page. My on-page is grade A for this particulary page, i got links for that page too. But My competitors PA and PD is better than mine, not too much, but it is. If i build more quality backlinks and start increasing my PA and PD probaly i will rank better than my competitors?
