I highly recommend Wordpress. You are going to get a lot of flexibility and support both with the CMS itself and all of the available plugins. Not to mention the availability of theme and plugin developers in the event you need something custom.
One thing you might look into for Wordpress is premium.wpmudev.org, I have been considering this for a long time but I thought of it when you mentioned mini forum, might be a good resource.

My 2 cents for WordPress, it has plenty of addins and very easy to install and configure.
WordPress has a very good SEO Tools addins, there are a lot of skins available and you can easily find someone who can install or create custom plug-ins for it.

Having built 7 websites with the same features you describe, I found Wordpress to have the shortest learning curve.
I did try Drupal as well, but found plugin support for Wordpress to be more readily available. That was support that i desperately needed to make my projects work too.
I'm sure there are plenty of people who can recommend Drupal as well. Simplest way is to try both and see which you are more comfortable working with. It's free to find out after all!

Key words that my target segment uses
Using SEOMoz (or what other tools do you recommend), how can I find the most common key words that my target segment uses in Google search - about any subject? Say my target segment of customers is teens aged 13-18 in Mexico (using Spanish) or in Turkey (using Turkish language). Thank you in advance 🙂

How are you using Moz Content?
Hey people, I just subscribed for Moz Content and I am wondering how are other professionals using it as a strategy tool. Today I just released a blog post talking about how larger content impacts PA. Not a big deal. I would appreciate some ideas and insights.

Identify business pain points using SEO
Hi, can I use SEO research techniques to identify what kind of services businesses are searching for? Is it possible to find out pain points? I have been using tool like MicroNicheFinder to do such a research but I am not getting any where. Is SEO only used to outrank my competition? Do I need to first know what business I need to be in and then use SEO techniques to research the demand? Do I make sense? You can tell that I am very new at the internet marketing thing. Please let me know. Thanks.

Using the 'Organic Traffic Data ' feature.
I don't have access to the clients Google Analytics Password. Can you set it up without being redirected to Google webmasters? Is there a way to insert a simple code into the website and then have SEOmoz double check the code? Thanks so much

Press Release - using moz bar/OSE is reading domain not page? How? Why?
A question posed by Christopher Glaeser from early today:low PA high DA, had a follow up response from him providing 2 urls from PR WEB for separate press releases: http://www.prweb.com/releases/2011/11/prweb8923419.htm (HP White) On moz bar Page Analysis/Link Data = PA - 47 DA - 36 http://www.prweb.com/releases/2011/12/prweb9051351.htm (Golfer's Advice) On moz bar Page Analysis/Link Data = PA - 1 DA - 96 I kept scratching my head as to how a press release of 6 weeks ago had garnered such attention from a company that would not seem to have a huge traffic due to more obscure product offering and scientific subject (Analyses of Armor Industry versus Golf Advice).

Then I realized that for HP White, Link Data was not about the PR. The url from mozbar was HPWhite.com not the above, I did not notice until I used OSE where same thing was happening. When I cut and pasted the above press release url for HP White and placed it in OSE this changed: PA - 49 DA - 96 (2 links 2 linking root domains) For Golfers advice (0 links from 0 linking domains) Note to all: the links to the PR WEB release for the HP included a low end directory type link and a link from PR WEB (. For Golfer's Advice there was not a link back to the release from PR WEB: Note that Golfer's Advice is a newer release (6 weeks). So, any link from HPWhite release would equal more juice to HP White and PR Web and Vocus. Any link to Golfer's Advice from release offers......???? to Golfer's Advice and who cares to Vocus and PR Web. So, I guess this begs a couple of questions: Why the mozbar link analysis difference for one versus the other? Does PR Web treat some differently than others? Who benefits most from me paying a PR Web to do press releases for a client, PR Web and Vocus or my client and I???? I have tried to order the images to make sense: L to R top, then bottom is last. How to Use Open Site Explorer
I've used Open Site Explorer here at SEOmoz for the first time and I'm confused by the results. I'm wondering how dated the results are? And, what are they based on? For example, I'm certain my facebook shares and like are higher...same with the twitter links. It seems kind of old?! One of my competitors who gets about 2x more traffic than me DOES have great backlinks. I know that. BUT, it's odd that her facebook and twitter results are what they are compared to mine - they're WAY higher in site explorer AND her links seem on par with her facebook page whereas mine don't. Whereas mine seem WAy Way lower than what they are in reality. She barely tweets and facebooks any more. Maybe once per month. She started out gangbusters, but doesn't do it much any more. That's kinda why I'm wondering if it's based on older stuff and not updated often? Anyone know?
