Does sitewide SEO affect PPC Quality Score?
-
When evaluating a PPC landing page for Quality Score, does Google evaluate the other pages that the landing page is linked to?
For example, if we have a well optimized page on the site for "Widgets", can it outscore a well optimized PPC landing page that is isolated in a "disallow" directory with no links into or out of the page?
I'm not sure if I am making myself clear...

From what my dedicated AdWords rep tells me, Quality Score is PRIMARILY based on CTR...however there is a small weight to text ad and landing page relevancy. My rep has told me that if my landing page meta title, H1 & content use the keyword, then the landing page will have a good relevancy rating....beyond this, don't worry about it.
I've asked him several questions about improving On Page SEO items to improve my Quality Score. He told me to focus on CTR, since this is primarily what determines Quality Score.
I recommend optimizing your text ads to increase CTR, which will result in a high Quality Score....use the keyword in your text ad headline, line 1 or 2 ad copy, and the display url. I also recommend using dynamic keyword insertion...preferably in headline.
Also go through your search query reports, identify keywords that generated lots impressions & low clicks, and add these keywords as a negative keywords. This will increase CTR & Quality Score...especially for your broad match keywords.
You can even go a step further in your campaigns to ensure high quality score... Stop using broad match...just use exact, phrase, & broad modified match type for every keyword.
Also remember that Quality Score is a long term metric, Google is looking at the CTR for the week, month & year...so don't expect changes you make today to impact your Quality Score tomorrow.

That's what I thought. I just read something to the contrary. Does anyone else know anything different?

Google wants to keep natural results and paid results separate and does not consider SEO factors when calculating your Adwords quality score to the best of my knowledge.

Can Google shopping listings affect SEO rankings?
Hello everyone. Here is my question: Until 4 weeks ago we used to have just around 2,000 product/pages on Google shopping of our product pages, then we added over 40,000 more items/pages to it, and our Google natural search rankings dropped on most of our long-tail keywords pointing to the same product pages. Do you think that's just coincidence or could the number of products/pages on Google shopping affect natural search results?

Can you market to someone 30 days AFTER they visit your site via PPC?
Hi all, I'm looking to market to visitors 30 days AFTER they have been to a website. Their is a coupon this business wants to run every 30 days to its' repeat customers (and if they purchase again); thus, 30 days more will resume. I'm aware that your remarketing list can capture audiences from 30, 60, and 90 days past. I'm talking about future display ads running 30 days after visitor has cookies enabled. Thanks for your help! Do Adwords affect organic rank?
I used to rank 2 for "guitar outlet" I just dropped to under 50th. Only change I made was to pause a Adwords campaign where I was including that keyword. Oddly enough, I believe I ranked high for that keyword BEFORE I added it as a keyword, but I cant be 100% sure due to lack of timing notes. But is it common for adwords to affect organic? If not...where do I start to look for the answer as to why it dropped?

Google Analytics CPC and PPC not Matching
Hi Why do our CPC in Google Analytic not match our PPC in Adword, surely they should be identical? We have Auto-tagging switched on and data in our history is wrong so it is not a timing issue. Thanks

I need someone who would have the same regard for SEOmoz and a healthy respect for safe SEO principles to help me with my monthly clients. Is this the place to post about my need or should I take it to the jobs area? Thanks in advance for your guidance.

Does anyone do SEO for a % of sales?
I am the CEO of a small company ( 33 employees in Jacksonville, FL ) We have a family of websites that sell office products - we are the manufacture we have a staff of 3 in the website dept - but with 10 active sites its alot of work. We are launching a new site this week and need to do some SEO for the site .. Since this new site has no sales - i want to see if there is someone that will work based on a % of sales - say 10% of sales for 18 months - Here are my thoughts : Option A: - go out and get a "package" for say $5000 and have SEO done and hope it proves results Option B: - partner with someone and give them 10% of sales the site produces - so if we can grow it to $1M in sales - that person could make $100K off the site - ( our competition is a $20M + site) Some would say that im crazy and it might cost me $100K -i like it because we are all on the same page and i pay for results - not promises. Thoughts?
