Is it considered duplicate contentnt to post a video to youtube then embed that video on our website's FAQs page?

Essentially, I am answering popular questions we are asked and answering them in a video. Once I post it on youtube, I take the video, add it to our FAQ page, and when someone clicks on the question, a new page opens with the question, the video, and the written answer to the question underneath it.

Agreed with Takeshi. We do this all day long. Great way to have content on your site and build up your YouTube Channel. Keep it up!

That's a perfectly fine use of video content. Since Google understands textual content better than other types of content, it could be helpful to include a transcript or short summary of the video beneath the video. This will help with SEO as well as allow people who can't watch the video to get value from the page.

Duplicate Video within site
My questions is about duplicate video content. I haven't been able to get a clear understanding from reading the previous threads. We are hosting our videos with Vimeo and embedding into our site. I want to embed them in 2 locations - on our features page with Java (Can be seen here http://simpletexting.com/features/). I also want to embed them in our resource section so that we can link to them directly. I am wondering what the best way to do this for SEO and whether there is a chance that google will penalize us for duplicate content? If leave out the videos on the features page in the XML sitemap, does that address the problem? Question about Wistia and possible other Video Solutions for better SEO?
We are considering using Wistia as a more SEO-friendly video solution. In our preliminary tests, we like what we see with the exception of one thing. There is no way for video users to toggle the interactive transcripts on and off. From an aesthetic viewpoint, our team finds the scrolling text extremely visually distracting. For usability and SEO purposes, we know that having the transcript there is important. Unfortunately in the embed codes, you are limited to either including the interactive transcript, or leaving it out. There is no mechanism to allow users to view it if they want to, but leave it off if they don.t Has anyone here created a workaround for this problem or found another solution, like Wistia, that has a more aethetically pleasing and user-friendly presentation of trascripts/captions? A doctor of mine recently complained that his patient went on to his Google+ Local listing and submitted a review, but it never showed up. The patient can see it on his own page, but it's not viewable publicly. Any ideas or posts you've seen about this? Thanks! Tom

Has Anyone Used CBS Local Pages?
CBS has a service that they offer to their advertisers called CBS Local Pages. Has anyone used this? It's about $1500 a month and basically they send "business data" to local listing platforms, this is similar to UBL and LocalEZE it seems. One of my associates subscribed to this and they're unsure of the value, they are paying $1500/mo for something that can be achieved with $125/year with localeze. Has anyone used this?
