Why did my site drop 6 pages over night?

deleted for privacy.

Well I wish Google would get on it and hurry up and merge them because the listing is hard to find on Google Maps and never comes up in the front page map.
-
That's interesting. Consolidating the listings will improve your changes of ranking in places as having multiple listings with the same address & phone number has a negative effect on ranking.
-
I totally agree with Scot
By expanding the descriptions on the photos you can also help diversify the words on the page. It may be that you are over-optimized right now, and adding extra words will actually bring you in balance.

I do have a google places listing as well as a google plus local profile for photojennette set up.

Is this what you're talking about? I actually have another forum post about deleting one of them and have been advised that google will merge the two in the coming months.

Jonathon,
While many of your competitors do have some type of gallery many of them have also been able to have a balance between text / HTML. Your pages, while they show the prospective bride's a beautiful gallery of her work, there is just not enough text for Google to consider for indexing.
Consider adding more textual copy about the photos, where they were taken "an austin wedding". The idea behind snippets in the images should help the pictures show up in Google Universal photo search. One thing to note is that your site is not currently listed in the Universal search for Google Places - this is the localized search for the "austin wedding photographers" keyword phrase. I would consider this to be a critical issue in driving business. https://support.google.com/places/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=142902&topic=1660711&parent=1656746&rd=1
This will at least give you another avenue of page 1 placement while you continue to tweak the site.

Bounce Rate: Would GA consider a user interacting with a single page (i.e expanding text), before exiting a bounce?
Hey guys, I have done a ton of research regarding bounce rates, yet I cannot seem to find the answer I'm after. Senario: BoIf a user follows a link and lands on a product results page with various sets of filters and an "apply" button, looks through the site, adjusts the filter functions (without changing the url structure) and exists without going to another page - would that qualify as a bounce in Google Analytics? For example: If I click 'details' to see expandable text on a results page ( /credit-cards). The dynamic url I'm talking about is below: https://masii.co.th/thai-en/credit-card/compare-buy?category=shopping%2Ccashback%2Cair_miles%2Cassistance%2Cdining%2Cpetrol%2Crewards&income=30000

Diganosing Traffic Drop
With Spring Break and seasonality in play right now I'm curious about techniques for separating/diagnosing temporary drops in interest due to user behavior in a category from other things like drop in ranking or similar. How quickly can you tell these apart? Analytics will be delayed a few days for instance, other tools take time to update. What should we be looking for and when to say "ok, this too shall pass" as opposed to "did we make a bad site update" or something similar. Any tips?

How come some local 7 pack listings link to site and some link to the G+ page?
Does anyone know how to fix this issue? Even though a site profile has had the website added to it Google continues to link the main "title tag" link to the G+ page and not the actual website domain. Thanks for any info in advance! https://www.google.com/#sclient=psy-ab&q=dog+sitting+in+rockaway&oq=dog+sitting+in+rockaway&gs_l=hp.3..0i22i30l4.14871.16189.1.16397.8.8.0.0.0.0.296.2042.2-7.7.0...0.0...1c.1.15.psy-ab.Y1db0jo77V0&pbx=1&bav=on.2,or.r_cp.r_qf.&bvm=bv.47244034,d.bmk&fp=722b460c2153b7be&biw=1920&bih=910

Forced Page Views and Search Engines?
I have a website that was built for the primary purpose of showing HTML 5 capabilities. With this, we have to create forced page views within analytics in order to receive any data about consumer behavior on the site. Are search engines viewing these forced page views as actual webpages? Does it even effect SEO efforts?

Site has taken a fall
I suspect (Although find it hard to beleive!) that a recently aquired link may have affected the rankings of one of my sites for all of it's keywords. Should I get this link removed asap or leave it and see if things recover? To me, it just smacks of un-nautral if the link gets removed straight away.

Would you say it is more bennificial to seperate keywords in the title tag tag of a page using a common ( keyword , keyword | Domain.com) or using a hyphen as SEOmoz best practices reccommends (keyword - keyword | domain.com)?
Title tag best practices according to seomoz is the following keyowrd - keyword | brand.com but I have seen some interesting results from using a comma as to a hyphen to seperate keywords as reccomended and wanted to know which method is more crawler friendly.
