Before May 22, 2013, penguin 2 updates, i was getting around 700 - 800 Unique hits per day
After pengin 2 Updates, There is no difference In ranking... But my traffic has halved
Saturday for example the only received 66 hits.
Please check my ranking stats

1. Why is there a major decline in traffic when ranking is more orless same
2. What is the possible solution?
3. Am I targeting wrong keywords? If so, what would the alternatives be? Please note the 300 I have inserted were simply cut and pasted from a list of 1103 targeted kws.
I would be grateful for any suggestions, so I may get traffic back to where it was before.
Thanks

Francis,
I'd guess that you've changed or removed the analytics script from some pages. Had you done any work on the site during that time?
-
I'd agree with Matt, it has to be other keywords that you are not tracking that must be struggling. What about seasonality? When you compare year-on-year, is the decline the same or out of sequence?
-
I think in order to give a conclusive answer one would have to delve deeply into your Google Analytics data. I would guess that if your main keyword rankings haven't changed they should still bring in roughly the same amount of visitors (give or take a few). The issue might be on the wider picture - longtail visitors, less important keywords etc...
If you log into Google Analytics and look at your main keyword, check its visitors over time - what do you see? Has that declined? Or has that remained stagnant? If it is stagnant then the issue is not with your main keywords but more a case of how wide you are spreading your net.

Inverse variation in Rankings between countries
Hi, Our ranking between India and USA is varying inversely like....when we improve in India...drops in USA and vice-versa. And the possible correlation I have from my end is: We have reclaimed some links and removed same. It happens at both redirects and removal of those redirects. When we reclaimed some links, we improved in India and dropped in US. And when we removed these redirects, vice-versa. Any idea on this? Please share. Thanks, Satish

Ranking Suggestions
Hi There, I am currently working on this site: completesteamclean.ca to rank as high as possible for "carpet cleaning windsor" on Google.ca and I can't seem to make any head way against the other websites ranking. I've optimized the page, created social media accounts for activity, even invested in Google Adwords and Facebook ads to try to boost my presence. Does anyone have any suggestions on any tactics/revisions I can make that may help boost my site?

Why do some domains out rank stronger authority domains
Hi, If we take the Moz stats into account here, how comes sometimes weak Moz stat domains out ranking strong Moz stat domains? For example: A inner page with DA56 / PA40 is outranking a Wikipedia inner page with DA100 / PA82. That's a massive difference basically twice as strong on the Wikipedia page but being out ranking. In this case I assume the onpage SEO is playing a big part, but can onpage optimisation be that powerful? And I see this all the time, what SEO factors cause this? Thanks.

My homepage doesn't rank anymore. It's been replaced by irrelevant subpages which rank around 100-200 instead of top 5.
Hey guys, I think I got some kind of penalty for my homepage. I was in top5 for my keywords. Then a few days ago, my homepage stopped ranking for anything except searching for my domain name in Google. sitename.com/widget-reviews/ previously ranked #3 for "widget reviews"

but now....
sitename.com/widget-training-for-pet-cats/ is ranking #84 for widget reviews instead. Similarly across all my other keywords, irrelevant, wrong pages are ranking. Did I get some kind of penalty?0 -
With Panda, which is more important, traffic or quantity?
If you were to prioritize how to fix a site, would you focus on traffic or quantity of urls? So for example, if 10% of a site had thin content, but accounted for 50% of the traffic and 50% of the site had a different type of thin content but only accounted for 5% of organic traffic, which would you work on first? I realize both need to be fixed, but am unsure of which to tackle first (this is an extremely large site). Also, I am wondering if the simply the presence of thin content on a domain can affect a site even if it isn't receiving any traffic.

One Website - Local + National Ranking
If a client (e.g. a winery) wants to rank both nationally and locally, what are some best practices for doing this on one Website? So the goal is to: Rank nationally for their wines, wine varietals, etc.so they're found by restaurants, distributors, customers (could include national directories, content creation ,etc.) Rank locally for their tasting room and wines for people looking locally or looking at that specific region (this could also include include Google places, local directories, etc.). I'm wondering if the site would need to be subdivided (or "siloed") where one section is heavily focused on national and another is on regional? Also, for the home page, which focus would be most important (maybe national because it's harder)? Thanks a for any ideas! Tom
