How do I distributing Articles to the correct sites
-
I'm relatively new to the SEO world, however, I've landed myself a SEO job for a mobility bath, shower and wetroom company.
I've optimize the pages and added links to directories BUT I would like to start gaining quality links. I've wrote articles, including keyword links, but I would like to know the best strategy to get articles distributed to generic/industry specific sites.
Any help will be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance

Hi Neville,
Article links are pretty low value most of the time, so instead of answering that question can I suggest you look at guest blogging instead which while also sometimes lending itself to low value links and content is at least usually a step up from article spinning sites.
Check out this recent post on guest blogging, lots of good info in there and then rework your articles a bit to be suitable for your selected blogs. You will need to be creative in your blog selection and your communications with the owner to ensure best results but needless to say if the process of publishing the article/post and getting the link does not involve real communication with a real person then 9 times out of 10 that link is going to be pretty much worthless in the best case and potentially penalty inducing in the worst. Also, take it easy on the keyword links! Any decent blog will usually insist on only a branded author bio link, something to keep in mind.
My two cents!

First Post! Local Electrician Site.
I have a site for a local electrician that I just can't seem to get to move up the SERPS. I've tried everything form on-page optimization to local link building but It seems to always hover around position 11-17 for my keyword 'electricians grimsby' - which is not very competitive. Any advice would be invaluable.

Pursuing Links on Sites You Have a Link From
Is it a bad idea to spend resources to get a second link from a site that already links to you? It seems like the marginal value of each additional link is much smaller than the first link.

Links from Related Sites with Low PR or semi-related sites with High PR?
Is it better to get a link from a site with lower PR but related content or higher PR but semi-related or unrelated content? For example, if I sell shoes, would a link from a PR1 or PR2 shoe or apparel site be better or a link from PR4 website that sells books be better? I'm not talking about sites with completely unrelated content, but how relevant is PR in obtaining relevant links if I am trying to raise the PR and rankings of my own site?

So I ran into a site that was not ranking 4 days ago and has over 2 million links to it on some keywords. My guess is this is a link bomb, but the issue is this is pushing one of my sites down. Does anyone know a good way to over come a bomb like this?
So I ran http://www.riogrande.com/ into this site not that long ago and wanted to see if any other SEO's have an opinion on it. I've seen a Google bomb before, but the amount of links going into this URL is insane. The thing is how does one over come a Google Bomb? Do you just wait to see what Google does or do you just hope to rank under that URL? I should also note that it appears that all the keywords to it are relevant to the sites content. Let me know your thoughts. Thanks
