Why Google did not index exactly these 2 pages? Any ideas?

Dear Community,
on 27th of July I relaunched my own website and submitted the sitemap as well I send the index-page to crawl it including all linked pages. Already the next day the new pages have been indexed. Today I checked them manually if they have been indexed.
The result is that 2 of 13 pages have not been indexed, here marked in bold:

The page "/design/" (which is the index.php of this folder should be the main-page because its about WEB DESIGN.
Should I create a copy and call it /design/web-design.php? May be Google prefers a meaningful URL than the index.php? So I put then a rel=canonical to web-design.php in my index.php? -

The URL is a little long, but this should not be the reason? Or might be a reason that another page which is still in the index, but not online anymore (even redirecting to /design/) is still more dominant? Strange.... orshould I simply wait a little or try submitting these to sites manually to google? -
When checking Google Webmasters Tools Google tells me that just 3 pages have been indexed.
When I was checking which page is indexed or not I checked each URL with the site-search option:
site:inlinear.com/pageX.php ... when Google shows this page, it was a sign that it was indexed but why webmasters tools show up only 3 pages? (see screenshot)
Do you have any ideas?

Karl, yes thats right. I just picked these 2 pages and submitted them "fetch as google" and both pages have been indexed shortly after.

I think it would be worth adding the "priority" attribute in your XML sitemap. That way you can tell Google which pages you want to be crawled as priority. Remember, Webmaster Tools is not a live update of what Google sees, in some instances, it can be a couple of weeks behind.
Just looked to see if **http://inlinear.com/design/ **was cached and it was cached today about 5 hours ago.

I think you might just need to wait it out. But you can always help they by using " Fetch as Google " from Google Webmaster tools

Just went through your blog and everything seems to be fit on the code end... the thoughts you have mentioned in the pointers should not be implemented because the URL generation is correct and the URL is not at all too long!
I believe give it a bit more time and may be it gets index! Plus also try to generate links and social shares to these pages and this will indicate Google about this page and it will index it accordingly!
I believe you should give it a little more time plus social shares and some good quick links would accelerate the process!

Why are my pages de-indexed?

What could be the problem here? I had someone re-write the content for every city but I have a feeling that there is less differences in the car accidents pages? Is this considered duplicated content do you think? Am I making some other mistake I can't think of? Is it just a one day blip (I doubt it) Let me know, thanks. </form>

How is this page ranking?
Hi. A client of mine is being outranked by a competitor whose landing page does not include the keyword within their page content AT ALL. Nor does their URL. Nor do any image alts. And their page title features the keyword in the middle of it, not at the start. Their link profile is not great with directories and the like. They are not socially active.. I am confused! I thought content on a page absolutely had to include the keyword to get ranked for it. Here's the page: www.springsoft.ie, keyword is "water softeners" Any thoughts I would appreciate. Is creating lots of sub product pages with some variation a good idea?
I have a service for quote comparison for web design, graphic design etc. My main sales page is http://www.designquotes.com.au/compare-quotes I am thinking of creating 20 or so product specific pages such as this: http://www.designquotes.com.au/business-card-design-stationary-quotes Additional pages such as CMS Wbe Design eCommerce Web Design Logo Desing etc Some of the content is repeat, the main content that changes is in the content slider at the bottom. Is this a good idea, or should I be creating more high quality content like the one below? Web Page Refresh
Hi there, we redesign our Website, changing it for a jquery based version. This new design is much more usable and nice for our users, however the average page views for user decreased a lot. Basically this is due to the fact that once the user is logged in, it spends most of the time in the same Web form which is updated through jquery without refreshing it. We were thinking about adding a meta refresh tag, or ad some javascript for getting this task done in order to get the relation page views/visitor increased. Do you think refreshing the page every 4 minutes could be penalized by Google (or other Search engines) ? Which should be the interval between refresh ? Would it be better to make it very explicit (i.e. adding a meta refresh tag) or using a kind of hide javascript ? We want to increase the pageviews but of course, we don't want to get penalized

Duplicate content issues with products page 1,2,3 and so on
Hi, we have this products page, for example of a landing page:

http://www.redwrappings.com.au/products.php?c=australian-made&p=3 In SEOmoz, they are recognized as duplicate page contents.
What would be the best way to solve this problem? One easy way i can think of is to nominate the first landing page to be the 'master' page (http://www.redwrappings.com.au/australian-made/gift-ideas), and add canonical meta links on page 2,3 and so on. Any other suggestions? Thanks 🙂0 -

How to handle Meta Tags on Pagination... page 2,3,4....
Seems that SEOMoz reports are considering my paginated pages as duplicate Meta Tags. For example, I have a product catalog with 5 paginated pages. Obviously the content on each page is unique and the URL ends in =4, =5 for the page number, but the Title and Description are the same for all the pages. Any suggestions on how to handle this? The pages other than page 1 are not indexed, so it should not be a big deal. But wondering if I should programatically ad the page number to the additional pages to show a difference?
