Now that Google is debuting its new Google Adwords Keyword tool, how will this affect the way you do keyword research?
Are there other tools you use?

I use Marin for my keyword research. It combines keyword suggestions and search query reports from both AdWords and AdCenter into 1 tool.

Not sure yet but would be really interested in seeing what other people think, I'm really not a fan of the change

For me the guy who is doing marvelous work in that field is @richardbaxter check this article http://moz.com/blog/keyword-research-using-categories and dig for some more over the web.
Very nice is also what Wil Reynols from SEER Internetive said couple of times. Just do not hit enter after you type something in Google.

Why might Google be crawling via old sitemap, when the new one has been submitted and verified?
We have recently relaunched Scoutzie.com and re-submitted our new sitemap to Google. When I look on Webmaster tools, our new sitemap has been submitted just fine, but at the same time, Google is finding a lot of 404s when crawling the site. My understanding, it is still using crawling the old links, which do not exists. How can I tell Google to refresh it's index and to stop looking at all the old links?

Need advice interpreting these changes in my search traffic
I've recently made a few changes to my site based on some advice from the seomoz tool. I've noticed some changes in the traffic data (see attached image) which I can't completely explain. First, the good news is that total organic search visits is up 2%. I assume this is the most important metric and I'm obviously happy with total increase in organic search. At the same time the number of number of URL's entered on search is down 1%. I think this can be explained by the fact that I removed some duplicate pages (like archives that had the same content as the blog post pages, etc.) The part that I don't quite understand is that total number of non paid keywords sending search is down 3%. That seems like an unexplained decrease that I can't really account for. Any ideas on how to interpret this? Domain & Page Authority of brand new site?
Something I always do to assess how easy/difficult it will be for a clients site to rank against competitors is to compare domain and page authority scores with the scores of the competitors on page 1. This is great when Moz have spidered my clients site and can provide scores but what about where a clients site is brand new with only a few natural links? Anyone suggest a ball park figures for Domain authority on brand new websites?

Keyword Difficulty Tool - How to use it the best way?
Hi, I am freshman, both, here on SEOmoz and in SEO generally and have a question concerning the assessment of KW difficulty. I did browse through the Q&A-Section (great content!!) but could not find a relevant answer to my problem. So I am currently building my initial keyword list, our website is only 2 months old, so we are still in the very early stage. Fashion is a very competitive area, so the KW Diff. Tool indicates high difficulty for a lot of words and phrases. however, I identified some with percentages <50 or even lower than that. Then I compared the results of the SEOmoz tool to Google Adwards and the Google results for competitiveness differed significantly. For example: for the KW Personal Shopping I got KWD from Seomoz 33% (in Germany) and from Google 0,5 for broad and 0,64 for exact search. I am quite confused how to make the right choices for my KWs now. Which metrics should I consider most? What else apart from the competition factor is behind the metric KW diff.? Does it matter in any way that I search from Germany for Germany in German? Do you have any further recommendations for the process of identifying the best Kws? SEOmoz LDA tool experience?
http://www.seomoz.org/labs/lda Does anyone presently use this tool as a regular part of their SEO analysis? Does anyone have any updates regarding this tool? It is still in the lab despite no updates for over 6 months. Is it being retired? Or promoted to production? If you do use the tool, what % of relevance is your goal when optimizing pages?

Anyone having problems with the SEOmoz KWD Tool??
Just a quicky: Tried to run keyword difficulty tool reports last couple of days but keep getting error messages regardless of how many words/phrases I request. Is this a general outage or just me? Cheers
